let your parents know that you are trying to lose weight, if they arent supportive, then meet them somewhere for dinner and order a healthy dish, or see them at a time of day thats not associated with meal times, come after dinner is over, or way before it starts, if you cant resist, eat smaller portions, NO 2nd's, only eat the dishes that you just cant live without, all the flavor is in the first 3 bites, so savor the first bites then move on, focus on the healthy stuff. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and remember, diets dont work, you have to be ready to change your entire lifestyle, if you cant do that then get ready to yo-yo diet

If you want to lose weight in your belly area, I suggest you do lots of cardio instead. It'll just burn the fat right off. As for your parents cooking yummy food, you should enjoy it (or send some over to me!). I'm assuming you're on a pretty strict diet so indulge yourself every once in a while; believe it or not, it's healthier for your mind.

Eat less.
Those yummy meals, make them all you eat!
Cut out all the sugars.
Drink only water.
Remove the skins off chicken.
No fried foods.
Cut out one meal a day.
Learn will power.
I went form size 39 to 33 in six months by eating only lunch and healthy snacks like fruits the rest of the time. I cut out all sugars. Drank water. Ate a little white meat turkey with no bread for dinner.

You can still eat those foods you just have to cut back on the amount you eat at one sitting. Also monitor the amount of bread you eat with your meal and increase your water consumption that will help get rid of the water that you may be retaining in your belly area. If you exercise, do some weightlifting because the more muscle mass you have the more fat you burn when your sleep. hope it helps

well the truth is...
After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 150+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 4 years now. I've beaten 3 terminal diseases and I am now in amazing health, all around, not just thinner.
I did it without medicine, workouts, religion, going hungry or hating my food and without an operation or secret formula. Ermmm there's some kind of medicine that which be taken together with food. No matter how much u eat u wouldn't grows fat or put on weight. The medicine can be bought at the parmacy. the Name?? Many names.. but there's one call crap control thats works quite well
