Does a Marine Recruit recieve pay while in Boot Camp?

Does the recruit have to wait until basic is finished to receive their pay in one lump sum?

They earn it, but it isn't given to them untill they finsh boot camp. Then they get paid the lump sum of all they have earned minus expenses such as the cost of the uniforms.

While in boot camp the recruit has no need for very much, if any,
money. The recruit starts earning his pay as soon as he steps onto the yellow footprtints. The recruit will know about the footprints. They get the remaining pay as a lump sum upon graduation.

Yes. Everybody in the military gets paid. You get paid in more ways than you can imagine. You do get a monetary allotment, though it isn't much. You get rewarded by becoming the man or woman you never knew existed inside you. As I told my daughter in a long letter that I wrote to her while she was in "boot camp"; you enter as a Caterpillar in a cocoon. As time goes by, and you progress through the stages of life (training), you begin to blossom. On that final day, you will shed the cocoon that has protected you and held you captive for the last 12 weeks. You will stretch out your wings with new found enthusiasm and courage. You have now found a whole new life. The life of a level-headed warrior, with but one goal. Duty: to God and Country; protect at any cost.

They're paid. In the Army at least, there's a step in the "reception" process where the servicman give his bank info, and signs up for direct deposit. The serviceman has the option of being paid once or twice a month.

yes, they get paid the whole time they are in. They do have to buy some uniform stuff, but they also have alot of uniforms issued to them then.
