God has killed millions of humans with a flood. He got upset at a teacher (Lucifer) for giving Adam and Eve knowledge. He states that he gave his only child to die for our sins, yet Jesus was a human… If there is an afterlife, then what kind of sacrifice is dying? Really??? If there is an afterlife then death is nothing. What good is a death for our sins if there is an afterlife??? It doesn’t make sense! If you look at the old testament, Satan does a whole lot of good and God did a whole lot of evil. Read it and understand!

You're going to offend the bible thumpers (I remove the "T" usually).

Christians are allergic to logic.

I've been reading the bible since I was a child . I think maybe you and I weren't reading the same book. I'm not going to get into all the scriptures that prove you wrong. Anyone that already doesn't believe wouldn't care and the ones that do need no proof. To the person that made the lewd commit about offending bible humpers. I am a christian but I'm not offended. True christians aren't that thin skinned. I'm saddened by the many people on here that are lost. I know from my experiences here on this earth that following God is the way for me. You have every right to voice your opinion however wrong you are. I pray daily for God's mercy on the souls of the lost on this site. God Bless You . I hope that you realize the truth before your time here is done.

If god really exsists perhaps he isn't good. He could be right, with out being good. The death penalty seems right because it is justice, but that doesn't make taking another life is good.
I do agree that too many peole use the bible without actually reading it. If you have time the teachings of Buddha are not based one faith, but on logic. Plus you don't have to believe in an afterlife or higher being if you choose not to.

To be honest...

Human life would be very insignificant to "God" if he was seeking to perfect his creations. (Ask any master artists.)

I don't think it was the snake's fault, Eve just blamed it on the snake. Why the snake? Must have something to do with the old Pagan triple headed goddess who was popular.

Even when there was an afterlife, dying would hurt like hell, no? (Well, it was a good errand -- more cost efficient to delegate.)

Not that I would take much of these seriously or literally.

I think u are verry much terrified with the God. Actually u must learn the Hinduism, where the God is like a mother, father, teacher, brother, friend..... even a slave or worker for u. Hinduism says that the God is ready to be yours, with what ever relataion u u like to be with him. His only condition/ request/urge is that u remember him at all the times. Off course in trhe need, but also at satisfied times. Offcourse at problems, but also when u are enjoying. This is another thing that he even remins withu, for u always even if u don't.

For further details... refer to The Bhagwad Gita.... available on the Net.
SO THE THING THAT MAKES THE GOD GREAT IS HIS forgiveness.... as I think.

Sir you are mixed up. God is good because He is love, perfect, fair and wants us to have the best eternity ever. Satan is a deceiver and wanted to cheat Adam and Eve out of heaven. Jesus is a part of the Godhead and when he died willingly for our sins, it was part human and part God. The father part of God raised Jesus from the dead, but the price to cover our sins had been paid. there is an after life, and for those who accept Jesus as their personal savior they will go to heaven. God created hell for the devil and the fallen angels, and He doesn't want anyone to go there, but if they make the free choice to ignore Jesus, they will go to hell.Satan hasn't done any good on earth, but God has. Every time you breath a breath of air, eat food or drink or enjoy the sun shine, its because of Gods goodness.

Absolutely, and God lied to Adam and Eve and told them if they ate of that tree they would surly die, the serpent told them you will have knowledge from the tree well you was right they ate from the tree and received knowledge and they did not die like god told them they would.
Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden
of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree
of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou
shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof
thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:4 and the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely
die:
Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your
eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and
evil.

Men must make god in their minds. If you choose to believe the bible, then your perception, if you will forgive the overstatement, of god is probably a pretty bad one. However, a man can also create a loving god in his mind and be perfectly happy. Of course, the wisest among us don't believe in god, but that is a different story...

First of all God created you. He created Jesus to die on the cross for our sins because God loved us that much... Jesus loved you that much too. God flooded the earth because it was full of wicked people and sin. He cast out (lucifer) because he knowingly betrayed him, by tempting man. I read the bible and understand.....
You read it and understand!!!!

I pity the the simple mind that cannot comprehend such simple questions as these. If God is infinite and perfect, then no matter what he does, whether it seems "evil" to us, it is good. You are not a god, how can you compare your actions to His?

Seriously, you're trying to make sense out of religion. Do yourself a favor and don't bother, you'll go crazy trying. God is a hypocrite, do as I say, not as I do. Not really one I'd follow.
