What I would really like to know is what you think will happen if amnesty is voted down and deportation starts immediately? Will illegals pack their stuff and wait to get shipped out or will there be protests and rioting?

If amnesty is actually voted down and enforcement occurs (rather than just nothing happening, which is another possibility, at the moment) I don't think there would be mass deportation, except possibly of the nasties. I think it would be more a matter of no more sanctuary, no more 'don't ask' policies, and deportation where they are identified, particularly after arrest.

Whether or not there is amnesty, the bad sort aren't going to get it, so their deportation would happen in any scenario except possibly the stalemate do nothing scenario. Even then, I think the states will start to do it on their own, or start suing the federal government to do so.

There may be rioting, however, it will obviously call attention to their location, so I am not sure how widespread it will be.

The sort that would riot are the sort we would want gone under any scenario, so that will happen, regardless of amnesty.

Imagine the scenario where a child is a legal citizen ( let's say a four year old) and the parents are here illegally. They may vote down amnesty, but they will never deport people. The government is far too ineffective.

1.Sheriff's all over the country are now Enforcing Existing Laws......
Not all,but quite a few........
Which has lead to alot of Deportations.............

2.When Amnesty is Voted down,if any Illegals in the area I Reside at that time decide to get Stupid,I will personally make Arrests.............

3.Any that decide to get Really Stupid will be put down.........

Note:That is not something just anyone should do.....
In my experience I have arrested over 1500 Illegals......
Thats basically my "dont try this at home" statement........

yes there will be protest and rioting people whining because illegals want the benefits without the process. I think they should load the buses and head towards the border with the signs on the bus saying here's your trash back

I think there will be riots and looting. Protest over their rights not being met will be normal and our federal government will continue to let them. It will be up to individual states to take action and process them and deport. Then maybe they can come back legally and learn to follow the laws.

The house is very against the amnesty bill. There is going to be a lot of push back.

The issue is dead for now, the house will never pass amnesty. If they riot they will cook their own goose. Americans are sick of them, and fed up.

Of course, they will behave like criminals and riot and loot but if we had someone with a backbone in government and they would allow local law enforcement to act accordingly, they could do something with these menaces. They should be put in jail like any other criminal.

Quite possibly rioting, depending on what else is passed to enforce the laws.
