Do people just spell the way they want to here? For example: dunt no how to spel, u tink eye ned 2 spall guud?

Its kind of funny, I try to answer some auto questions for people and it makes it some what difficult. Now I don’t spell that great, my grammar is not top of the line, but there is a great spell checker and I use it!

I know what you mean (or should I say "I noe wat ewes minh"?). I am, by no means, the best speller in the world and am the queen of typos but at least I write in English. If people can't understand your question, you are not going to get a quality answer. I guess it's true what they say about our public school system, huh?

Since when is spelling actually required?? Usually if the last and first letters are in place, with some of the letter in between the two, it can be deciphered quite quickly, and sometimes instantaneous. but using ned instead of need, and guud instead of good, is kind of annoying. Usually people only bring up other peoples spelling mistakes when they bring up an argument that the person noting the spelling mistake disagrees with. But then it is always funny when the person noting the spelling mistake actually uses correct spelling, but forgets entirely to use any grammar, periods, capitals, etc.

Yep, a lot do. Same for punctuation. Sometimes it's so bad I have to reread the question/answer to see what they said. I definitely think some people should at least use the spell check and make sure their question/answer is readable.

most people here probably are uneducated. Not me, though, I also dislike when they spell like that especially since there is a spell check. There's no need to be so ignorant

Duster,

I hear you!

Furthermore, you can fix my car,
truck, or train, anytime you want.
At least I'll know you did not 'spare'
any parts!

Thanks and stay well!!

Not a stupid question! I agree, it makes people look uneducated and it's hard to read.
