The reason that you can only hear the movie and not see it is due to the fact that you do not have the correct video codec installed. I would recommend going here: http://codecpack.nl/klcodec272s.exe
This is a 6.30 meg download it is a called Klite codec pack. This is a setup file with a bundled amount of codecs that comes with the xvid codec and divx codec. This will allow you to play most movies that you download.
Also this does not mean that you downloaded this movie illegally. Xvid and divx compression is amazing compared to others I often convert my movies that I made to xvid and divx to bring down the file size. Good luck hope this helped.

for all we know you could be talking about anything. but im guessing your talkin about some movie on your computer. if thats the case, you need a certain codec to be able to see the video.

check ur codec. If not try playing with DIVX player.

that means you have the audio chord plugged in but not the video cord
