have a maytag dishwasher not sure what year but the model number is lwc701, was wondering if any one knew where i could get a manual on it

You should beable to download a copy of the use and care manual and a manual on installation. Also, the model number should be ten digits, you only have six. There should be a model number somewhere on the dishwasher. If it's not visible it is probably in the back. In that case you would have to move the dishwasher.
If this information does not help you, check on ebay they sell a lot of manuals for various appliances and automobiles.
