I'd say 30 and above, younger is better than older, they'll have the energy to keep up with you! LOL!! The generation that a guy comes from makes a difference in how your treated though, in my experience, older men look for more traditional women and younger men expect a woman to be more independent and know what she wants. Age is really just a number though, and this is just generalizing, so if you find a great guy, enjoy him for himself first and his age second. Hope this helps :)

Ok, I'm 25 and 6'3" in good shape and I have been dating a woman who is 38. It is the time of my life. Well, we have sex of course, but the conversation is great. I really enjoy her. We know it is not a long long term thing. I would say go for it. Age is just a number. Plus, the female death average is 6 to 7 year older than that of males in the US. So, subtract some years and have some fun! I've never had an arguement with her and have had a really good time! Do it!

When I was 45 1/2 years old, a very interesting man who just turned 40 asked if we could meet. I almost said he was too young for me at 5 1/2 years age difference. But I didn't. It was the best decision of my life. He is still my best friend and lover and we have very much in common. His brothers and sisters think I'm younger than he is and we've not set them straight yet. Women die an average of 6 years after their age mates. Keep this in mind :) Good luck.

well i have a saying that i say all the time when people say ohh there to young to date....i say 18 is old enough.....so as long as their 18 and up go for it....me personally if i was 42 i would probably look for someone who's around 25 at least for youngest...my thing with that is if there old enough to be your kid...(like u could have had them..age wise..their too young)
Although what are u expecting from this guy....if your looking for real young ones they'll be fun but might not be too mature...or want to settle down...(so if your not looking for anything serious and just wanna go have fun i would say that 18's old enough)
Me personally i have a 10 year rule...if their more then 10 yrs younger or 10 yrs older i probably wouldn't date them...(unless i was really, really into them anyways...i still wouldn't want to go more than 15 yrs either way though) thats for a serious relationship...if i was just looking to have fun.....18's old enough!

35, maybe? It all depends on what stage the guy is in in his life and whether he's stable emtionally and workwise, etc. Age is not such a big deal once you're both over 21. However, as someone else pointed out, if the gap gets too big, you may be leaving someone behind at a fairly young age if you end up in a serious relationship.

However young of a guy you can hook up with who isn't too young for YOU! I started dating my last husband when he was 27 and I was 38, and that was 15 years ago. We were married for 10 years, and it would've been longer if he hadn't had such a bad temper. Next relationship? Probably start around age 35 at the youngest. In other words....AGE doesn't matter, it's COMPATIBILITY.

Once a person is of legal age, it shouldn't matter. However, you are more likely to have things in common with someone closer to your gae. My husband is almost 10 years older than me... Although we love each other very much and don't really care what people think, there are some things my hubby knows more about and some things we do not have in common. Anyway, whatever makes you feel good is fine. Don't let others tell you what to do. It's your choice. Hope this helps!

I'm 46 and my boyfriend is 38. We have been together for 13 years. Men die younger than women do typically. As long as you can find a man that loves you for you, and is not caught up in the "age" thing - I say go for it. Some men are just too mature for their age and have experienced life at a young age and don't want a younger woman. And if you don't feel your age, like me, why go for a fuddy-duddy. Good luck!
