The reason why I am asking this is because my sister has a terrible head ache and we see wax in her ear but cannot get it out

Ear wax, like snot, it the bodies defense against things entering the body. When dust or dirt collects in the ear canal, the wax catches it and eventually will discharge it. Basically this means when enough dirt/dust is surrounded by wax, it will fall out. Think of it like rolling a ball of glue on the ground. Once it collects dirt it becomes less sticky. Just like the glue, the wax becomes less sticky and falls out. It's nothing to worry about, but using a Q-tip around the outer part of your ear canal will collect the excess wax. That way it wont fall out at random times.

Yes. not only wax. If you clean up your ear too much, you will have headache. I had that problems. I went to the docotor who told me If I touch my ear too much, I will have scar in my ear and make headache.

No, but it can have an effect on your hearing if you form a plug and it happens to end up resting on the tympanic membrane.

You can't hear well with all the wax....flush it out
