Hunny, Signs that your baby isn't yet interested or is full even you think are hungry may include closing the mouth tightly and turning the head away when fed. They may cry when the food is offered, or push the spoon away. If this happens at your first attempts to feed your baby, relax and try again later. Food should never be force. When you ready to fed your baby be calm and relaxed when you start to feed your baby. Stay with your baby when they are eating, and let the baby sit with the family to watch and learn. Be patient. Your baby may only take a spoonful at first, but this will increase with time and practice. Be prepared, as all babies will make a mess as they learn to eat. Stay with your child while eating to avoid accidents such as choking. Try again later with a new food if baby refuses the first time. teach your baby to eat healthy like vegetables, fruits, water, meat, dairy products and healthy carbs. stay away with the bad carbs, to many juices. Your baby's organs and body grow and develop certain physical traits doring the first 2 years. If you do this, you will see, your baby wants to eat more often.
Good Luck!!!

My daughter would only eat fruit and chicken for the longest time. We offered her a variety of other choices, but that's all we could get her to eat.
As long as the baby's weight is good, and you are offering healthy choices, you shouldn't worry too much.
Instead of 'grown up' cracker and cookies, offer baby healthier choices. Without dehydrating the baby, limit the fluid intakes. Whole milk, which is what I am assuming you're offering, would fill up a little tummy pretty quickly.
Consult the baby's pediatrician, he/she will have lots of advice for feeding a fussy eater.

RE:
How do you get a baby to eat who doesn't want to eat?
Baby (15 mo) will drink milk and eat most hard carbs (crackers, cereal, cookies, goldfish). Also just variations of banana baby food, but that's about it.

most 2 week olds can only handle about 2-3 ounces (which is between 60-80ml) every 2 to 3 hours. So he is not doing anything wrong. 2 weeks old is also a time when a big growth spurt hits... so he is truly hungrier than he was 3-4 days ago. He really just needs to do this... doing anything to keep him longer will derail his natural system of knowing how much is enough, he needs to learn these hunger cues. Eating smaller amounts more frequently is really better than stuffing them to keep them from wanting more so soon.

1. Eliminate the cookies and goldfish. . .that doesn't seem like a healthy decision for a 15 month old child.
2. Trust me, if your child is hungry she/he will eat, but you must eliminate that junk food.
3. Lots of fruits and vegetables, water, also limit the milk (cow's milk right? not breast milk) consumption.
4. Turkey, Chicken meat (gerber brand)

Take out the crackers and cookies,, Offer the food you want him to try .. DID You know that it takes up to 10 "try outs" of a food for a baby to really get to like it.. (A dietician told me this), SO keep offering differnt foods, dont' feed same th ing over and over, change it up, keep it healthy only offer that but give it about a week on them

you can't make a baby eat anything but you can give them lots of healthy choices. Leave the cookies and crackers for in between meals snacks, but offer your child a big variety of fruit and veggies.

my daughter is just bout to be 14 months and shes kinda the same way, she eats baby food just bout all the fruit and most of the stage 3 gerber (only) foods trying to giver her real food is been a pain but i found something she will eat or at least most of it gerber graduates lil entrees they are real food they are like little tv dinners with veggies and mac and cheese or mashed patatoes and gravy with turkey or chicken and some other ones. most of the time my daughter will eat all the veggies out of it and at least 1/2 of the mac and cheese but as far as the other ones she really doesnt like them. as far as u giving ur baby crackers (all kinds including goldfish) use them for snacks ( and for car rides ) and cereal well lets see cheerios are good for breakfest and as far as cookies go give the gerber graduates for toddler cookies animal crackers they are better then cookies and also my daughter likes the fruit puffs and veggie puffs by gerber and as well as the dried fruit and veggies things.
she should be getting no more then 18-24 ounces of milk in a 24 hour period per my dr.

If he gets hungry enough, he'll eat real food. Stop giving him crackers, cereal, cookies, goldfish. Those should only be used as snacks anyway. Put some chicken in front of him/her and if he or she is hungry enough, it will be eaten... it's not rocket science or brain surgery, lady.
