Stay with the sure thing. The new place that just opened up is probably hiring allot of temporary help during their opening, and will lay most of them off once they're established. That happens allot, and you may end up out of a job. I would wait until the new business is up and going strong, and then apply for the first opening. At least then, the hiring would be to replace a needed full -time worker, and not just someone to hurry up so they can get things ready for business. It's probably best if you hold off for awhile before changing jobs.

Stay where you are..the other place can be more worse....no one likes work...if it was me i would take a 2 week off and then work @ the other place for a while and if i like it and i am sure about it then would quit my first job but keep in mind how big of an object money is for you too.....if you are already tight in that department then you going to be in more stress ( money problems).....managers always try to boss people around no matter where you work and there is drama every where too so make your choice wisely..

You should take the new job, the less stress the happier you will be, you could always tell the new job that your old job offered you a lot more money to stay, and they might met or beat the amount you tell them. But be careful not to make it too much or they might not do it.

Sometimes the money is not worth the heart ache. If you can still make it on the money at the new place, then I say move. Life is to short to sell it for a paycheck. If you end up with stress, this is not good for your overall well being. Take the opportunity while you have one instead of letting it pass and then you end up leaving with no opportunities. Good luck!

money is not always the best reason to stay with something. Stress can make things worse, so go with the job that has less stress... and make the most out of the money you will make.

If i were the "crappy" company you work for, or the hated people you work with, i'd say GO and good riddance. If you take your signature attitude with you i'm sure you'll be discontented wherever you go. Some people enjoy their jobs, and appreciate the money that the employment pays them. These people should not be plagued by malcontents in the workplace.

Go to the place that makes you happier. I find that money doesn`t buy happiness. I used to gamble often to bring in money, but the people I had to gamble with was always having a go at me and I was putting up with it for the money. But now I have stopped and I am glad I did, my life is more pleasant now, and I still have more than enougth cash to get by quite happily.

I left a higher paying job for a lower stress job a year ago and I've never once regretted. Money means nothing if you're not happy.
