k so i just strightened my hair and i so hate it ahh and like i want to get low lights cause i have very light brown hair but my mom will not let me i mean its my hair and yea its her money but idk like i try so much and i see all these people with great hair and i get so jealos should i wait and let it grow out cause i jsut got it cut and stuff and idk its hair and i hate it i started crying but i want to look pretty for the first day of school u know

Put lemon juice in your hair and go out in the sun! It will be sticky for a while, but it WILL give you highlights! Look in hair magazines and look at styles for short hair. Try sideswept bangs, too. Those are trendy right now. Lemon juice isn't permanent though :] So your mom has nothing to worry about.

you need to attempt curling it with a hair roller. or merely merely positioned it in a pony tail or braids- This differences your hair type plenty quite if you aren't any further used to wearing your hair like this. Braids can provide your hair a wavy look. you could also attempt making use of hair upload-ons (barrettes, lovable hair scrunchies, and so on.)

try some new hairstyles or somthing, i know what u mean tho. you could also try a few things for getting the low lights, beg, ask nicely, list all the good reasons, list the reasons it would be good for her, list the reasons it would be good for you.
