The psychiatric community has moved away from fancy names for phobia's. They now call fear of open doors "open door phobia". There was too much ridicule of the former (blank)phobia's in the past, and no one could remember the "correct name".

I don't know but I have this phobia where if the door isn't open and I'm in a burning building I just feel like I have to get out.

i hope u mean literally open doors as a door opening , there is no phobia name it is now just referred to as open door phobia because of the many new phobias people r developing and dealing with the medical community couldn't keep up with every ones phobia r names.

I have no idea. I looked and looked and couldn't find what it is called. The closest thing would be fear of open spaces which is called agorophobia
