Could there have been very high technology in the millinium before Noah's flood?

remember, no one had ever seen or heard of rain until the flood, and there was a shell of water incompassing the globe, that came crashing down to the earth in the flood, and the waters erupted from below the earth, and noah was the only one who truly prepared and stored for the flood, so if someone did build a boat, or had a flying verminna or something, they still would not have survived for all of those months.
And God also kept Noah safe.

noahs flood was about 4000 to 5000 years ago. I do believe.

Yes, they lived to be 900 years old, they could have been as advance or more so than we are today. The water didn't just come down it came down in sheets. Maybe they did have boats.
But they were not mean to survive. I'm sure a whole world before it reached the top of a mountain. Make some type of floating device.
Noah survived because he had divine protection, not because the boat was built so well. How do we know that modern technology didn't have a hand in the building of the Ark.
That would have been a huge undertaking for someone without a saw or some type of tools.

Possibly! How else could Noah build a 450' boat? Someone asked how many species of animals there are. Several million! That's too many to fit on Noah's Ark. There is no geological evidence of a world flood, and there is not enough water to fully cover all land. The tale of Noah's Ark is copied from the Sumerian tale of Utnapishtam in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. There is nothing to convince scientists that "high technology" existed in the period in which Noah supposedly lived. Van Daniken is not a reliable authority. He's a charlatan.

how else could Noah have been able to get all the species on board......had to be technology involved if the flood story really happened. Noah was chosen because his linage was pure. Noah was a son of god, his mother was a daughter of god. god was not happy with the sons of god marrying daughters of man. we are the results of that. our life spans are short, no more than 120 years. their life spans were long 5-6-700 years. i believe that is the original sin we all are supposed to have cursing us. don't think it was because eve ate an apple. i believe those sons of god were very educated and far superior to us. in older bibles the tale of nimrod, the mighty hunter, is told. it says there were giants on the earth, before and after the flood. just my take. don't want to offend anyone. i think sumarian history refers to the flood as a deluge. the ice cap on the south pole slipped off the land shelf into the ocean, causing a giant sunami. the original word for ark ment something more like a submarine than a boat. it would be able to withstand a side ways hit from a giant wave that a boat would not.

Noah's flood didn't really happen. It was a morality tale. As regards intelligent beings in the far distant past? Yes, there could well have been. There are some epochs lasting millions of years in Earth's history, and all we know about them is one fossilised leaf. Imagine if that was all that remained from the last million years and the next million years. One leaf? (And maybe a few space probes because they won't erode.)
