definitely. particularly since i don't worry about the fate of my pitiful soul... especially when it comes to the wellbeing of others.

Yes, absolutely. No matter what I said about where it came from, people would most likely still want the cure.
And being that people are skeptical by nature, they probably wouldn't even believe that it did come from the devil, so I would have the potential to do a lot of good, fade the heat for being considered some kind of nut case because of talking about the devil, and the world would be better off for it.
Remember, I am taking your question exactly as it is written....no crap about the devil lying, etc. should count because you did not mention any variables.

"the" devil? You mean the conception of the devil as presented in Christian mythology? As in everything therein is right? Yeesh. Knowing all that, I'd have to say he has something eeeeeevil in store... whatever he wants me to do, I should probably do the opposite of. But... what if he wants me to NOT take it, and then he can brag about humanity dying from cancer?! But what if I do take it, and the cancerlessness means that nuclear war spreads over the entire world DESTROYING US ALL?!?
Assuming Satan is some hyperintelligent entity, I'd probably end up playing right into his hands. Whether or not that means I'd accept it or not I don't know... but I'd have to say yes, since it seems more likely that any evil scheme involving giving people a cure would involve the cure actually getting out there...

This has nothing to do with the devil....or maybe it does.....
We already have the answers to cure cancer, but it is not cost effective to do so. Think of how much money the hospitals and pharmaceutical companies will loose if all of the cancer patients stopped having to make all of those visits to the doctors offices and hospitals. Yes, I have had experience with cancer and watched many useless and wasteful practices take place for the sake of running up the bill.

LOL. 1) If you believe that devil is bad or 2) if you are atheist and it would be against your belief to believe in devil, this cure will not help you. Even if cured you will get cancer newly. Researchers found that people who live in discomfort instead of conflicting directly, get cancer more often than those who behave directly in a way they think, without any hidden ideas and sick compromise.

The devil can't save himself. What makes you think he could save anyone with a cure for cancer. I would never believe anything he would tell me. However, on the other hand if Christ were to tell me that...I would declare His name the same as I do now.

No, because the devil is a liar, so I don't believe what he gives me is a cure.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings
