well, you certainly received some interesting responses, both positive and negative, some close to truth and some without any hope. Here is my understanding of life and death.

I am going to make this statement first, I was once a person that believed that the Christian doctrine was true. When I discovered that most of the NT was pretty much adaptation and plagiarism of pagan mystery cult religions, I rejected that religion. That would appear to mean that I was no longer going to either heaven or hell. OR I was most certainly going to go to hell for rejecting the dead man god Jesus. Right?.
Well lets do some logical thinking. Christian Apologist insist that the OT WAS the Word of God, till the NT replaced it. SMall problem, these same Apologists tell us that Bible both OT and NT is the Inerrant and Truth, however, the NT contradicts every WORD of GOD in the OT.
For Instance: OT, GOd created the world to be inhabited for ever. NT, the world is to be destroyed by FIRE,,,,yet even in the NT there is a contradiction, that the Lake of Fire and death is to be swallowed up, according to book of Revelation. SO that would mean that not only is the world, earth to be destroyed, but all the lower material plus all living, and dead souls were to be destroyed...result, no earth. SO which is it to be.....inhabited forever or destroyed. I believe that the NT which is loaded with contradictions does not reflect a true word of GOD.
SO what is in store for humanity? According to the Prophet Ezk, chp 38, there is to be a resurrection of the righteous, those who by virtue of having lived according to the Prophet Micah, as those that love mercy, do justly and walk hujmbly with GOD, will be raised from the dead at such a time as pleases GOD. Of course, no one can say with absolute deffinition, whether this person or that person will really be resurrected, as no one can prove resurrection, not even Christians, as their account of the supposed resurrection of Jesus is filled with contradictions, nor is there any evidence or historical contemporary corroboration. The lack of any external historian accounts is a very significant statement which must be considered. Simply, where is there any evidence outside of the single gospel Matthew, for a mass resurrection of saints from the graves of Jerusalem. DOesnt anyone think that such a MASS demonstration of resurrection would have attracted SOMEONES attention and interest? Wouldnt it makes sense that someone like Josephus would have mentioned this in his Antiquities...recognized as a major witness of all the live of Jerusalem at that time. But no,,,,not one word about a mass resurrection. WHY NOT? Anyone concur, the whole story was FICTION?

Read this: NOBODY is going to heaven, neither hell. If God wanted us to go to heaven he'd have created us there in the first place. He created earth with a purpose. Now, about hell: We have a justice system, the courts, that sets the penalties and punishment for all kinds of crimes. Even life in prison has a time limit (they say "life in prison" because you're not expected to live 120, 200, and so on years). Now, do you think that God will send somebody to "burn" in hell for not one decade, not a millennium, not a billion of a billion years, but for ETERNITY, for what that person did in, let's say, 70 years of life??? That makes no sense.

Besides, Hell, Inferno (Latin), Seoul (Hebrew), Hades (Greek), mean all the same: a grave, a hole in the ground where people are put to rest. It doesn't mean any burning place.

Ah definite, the familiar "heaven isn't authentic" responses. whilst will the resident athiests get a clue that this answer has no longer something to do with the question? to respond to your question, i might say they don't be responsive to. I even have ordinary some Christians with certainly one of those close relationship to God that they weren't terrified of death. They have been with God in this life and had each self assurance that relationship might proceed after. i do no longer difficulty approximately heaven or hell in my opinion. i attempt to stay the terrific life i'm able to and have confidence this is sweet adequate. i'm grateful for all times in the present day and enable the next day preserve itself. whether somebody does locate out their eternal destiny one minute before death, what good does it do? stay in the present day. Glorify God and love your neighbor in the present day. And have confidence that God will save His promise as quickly as you die.

Hello friend,
If or when I die, I will certainly be in the Presence of God my Savior for Eternity. The reason? Because Christ is in me and is my hope of Glory. See Col.1:27b.
See also John 14:1-3 where He made a promise that is gold in my heart.
It's for you too friend, if you will accept it.
Until He Comes,
2 Tim. 2 :7

Well according to
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.

John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: Ye
believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's House are many Mansions:
if it were not so, I would not have told you. I go
to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepere a place for you, I
will come again, and recieve you unto myself;
that where i am, THERE YE MAY BE ALSO.

I am a born again christian, I believe completely in Jesus Christ our Lord. I know through my studies and reading, and from what I've been taught, I will go to be in Heaven with My Heavenly Father.

To me, heaven is being in the presence of God. I have lived my life humanly, not perfectly. I have not sought out what God's plan for me might be, because then I would have to live my life according to that plan. The good news is that God loves me despite myself. My vision of heaven is of multitudes of souls surrounding a mighty light that is God. What we do with our life on earth determines how soon we get to see the Face of God, or whether we ever do. Some will not even see the glow. That will be hell.

Depends. If we are talking on a religous basis then I will probably go the hell, which is ok because I enjoyed my life. If this is not on a religous note. I would have to say heaven because I am a better person then alot of people.

While I actually do not believe in an afterlife, I would hope that I would go to Heaven. I try to be a good person and help others. I try very hard not to hurt others intentionally, and if I do hurt them inadvertently, I try to make amends. I try to do more good than harm, and I think I succeed. I think that BEING a good person is more important than SAYING you're a good person because you believe one creed or another. I guess I believe in good works over faith as a prerequisite for salvation.

Neither. I would be in the ground asleep, waiting for the day of resurrection. Then I will see what my destination holds for me-death or living here on earth. God never said to Adam, that if he disobeyed, he would go to heaven. He said you will die. God's plan was for Adam and Eve to live for-ever in paradise on earth. God's plans have not changed.

i would really like to end up in heaven, but then, in my religion, heaven is a place for those who follow Gods teachings... it isnt easy to get into heaven, coz we will go through a lot judgement throughout our life. but then, it isnt hard also.. there are 7 levels of heaven, and 7 levels of hell.. i hope i get into heaven, eventhough the lowest, coz i dont consider myself a person who has done so many big sinfull acts.(eventhough i have)..but then, all is in Gods hands...
