Yes, it is real. You should look up the terms "intersexual" and "hermaphrodite."
From Wikipedia: "An intersexual or intersex person (or organism of any unisexual species) is one who is born with genitalia and/or secondary sex characteristics determined as neither exclusively male nor female, or which combine features of the male and female sexes."
If true, then you should have been told this PRIOR to the relationship beginning. You were misled and have the right to leave if you are uncomfortable with the situation. You should have been told this very important information up front.

Well if you really love her, you should love her no matter what. Atleast she had the guts to tell you the truth. That must have been hard. Especially to find someone to accept the real her.
On your end though, I would be freaked out! But instead of thinking of yourself, think of your love for her and her wanting acceptance. :)

IT DEPENDS ON WHEN THEY TOLD YOU. IF YOU JUST STARTED TALKING AND THEY TOLD YOU UP FRONT IT IS BECAUSE THAY CARE ABOUT YOU AND WANT TO BE OPEN AND HONEST.
