Tell him to sleep on the couch a couple nights a week. Just tell him you're not getting any sleep because of his loud snoring. I had the same problem with my husband years ago. Sounded like a pig when he snored. Now he LOVES the couch. Says its easier on his back than a bed. lol And I get a good night sleep!!

My husband also has a snoring problem. I always try to go to bed before him. If I fall asleep before he comes to bed it's usually OK. Otherwise, I can't fall asleep because he snores too loud. If he is keeping me awake I do all of the usual stuff; elbow him, try to roll him over, wake him up. It's horrible I know... I keep telling him something is wrong and he should go see a doctor but he won't. SO, if you can... you should really try to get your husband to see a Dr... Good luck!

I don't know my hubby snores too i usually kick him hard so he shuts the heck up! He may have sleep apnea and they can stop the snoring by him sleeping with a breathing tube, my hubby wouldn't go for this but I wish he would so I can get a good nite's rest.

Well you could always do what i did, this was a few yrs ago,, but it sure worked, he was snoring, i tried everything, and after many many sleepless nites, I saw a can of hair mousse sitting on my dresser, I stuck the nozzle in his nostril, filled his sinus cavity with mousse,, and voila! he didnt snore anymore, that was after he got over his shock and rage, lol, i think maybe he didint snore anymore was because he was too paranoid to sleep, needless to say, it worked, good luck, haha

i know it!!! my hubby does the same thing. I try to get to sleep before him. Over the years I just got used to it and if he really bothers me i try to roll him on his side. If i can't get him rolled over on his side manually i try to do something that disrupts his snoring like tickling his nose. I wouldn't take him to a specialist yet only if he stops breathing in his sleep with sleep apnea. There are over the counter snore strips there is just the deal of getting him to use them ;)

well there are a few ways to solve the problem...first and foremost i think you can try those breathe right strips..they help to open the airways in the nose...snoring is often cause by restriction of these air ways..so that might help...they also have specail doctors that he can go to because there may be a deeper problem going on that causes him to snore...good luck...and sleep tight..

What i say is, try to accept it and soon, you'll not even felt it's presence. That's what I do. Sometimes, I look at my hubby snore and he look so cute... Sometimes I'll disturb him a bit by sticking my fingers into his nostrils and he would stopped for a while and that's when I'll try to fall asleep!

Sleep in another room. Use the yellow foam ear plugs that you twist up and stick in your ears. If you don't have another bed, buy one of those blow up mattresses for the living room floor.
PS Tell your husband you've had it with his snoring.

Please God if you find out let me know. My husband wakes me from a dead sleep. He shakes the walls. I've tried getting him to breathe through his mouth, didn't work, tried rolling him over, nope, didn't work either. Tried getting him to sleep on his stomach, that just shakes the mattress. I tried getting him to sleep in another room, but I miss him (sometimes) So I spend my nights trying to get to bed early enough to get at least three to four hours sleep before he comes to bed. That is what I have been functioning on for 3-4 years now. Good luck.
