If it is localized, just leave it and it will clear up on its own.

If its spread over the body, you may need to get some antiboitics from the vet to avoid infection and help with the healing. Bathing her in a betadine shampoo might help as well.

Please do not give antibiotics or dips from the vet. Demodex is essentially an immune issue which they are born with. The dips and meds cure them for "now" but dont strengthen the immune system to take care of the real issue. I have an article on it that I got from someone who studies holistic medicine with vets that will explain everything to you. I adopted a dog from the shelter who had this and I cured it completely with nothing from the vet. She has not had another outbreak and no one can believe shes a demodectic dog. :o)

I can email it to you as an attatchment... message me with your email if you would like the article.

There are none!! You need to get to the vet and get it treated. It is hard to control and it takes time.
Do not be one of the dorks that use motor oil on the dog!!!!!! That is NOT a good idea!!!!!!!

I do not have a clue but the vet should have some shampoo for it - I think they treat this the same way they do a yeast infection - not sure!

It is the worse stain of mange a dog can get, and they can die from it. Take it to the vet ASAP........If you love that dog.

First - see the vet
Second - try apple cider vinegar (internally) - works for horses!
