I usually wear my contacts 6 days a week then give my eyes a rest on one day and that usually is good for me....if i dont then my eyes get tired or something.....also do you other people put them on when you get up and take them off right before you go to bed or do you give yourself like 2 hours before you go to bed.......i've been wearing contacts for a few years now but im wondering about how other people wear them and if they get eye tiredness or something..........and last question is can i wear them all my life or will my eyes not be able to wear them at a certain point because it does prevent a bit of oxygen from entering even with the advances in medical science

Hey kiddo, I've been wearing contact lenses since I was 15; and I'm now 51 (aaack!). My first pair were made of hard plastic -- ridiculous now that I think about it! Now I wear soft lenses and I take them out every night and put on my glasses (I've always done this because my eyes do get dry and tired by the end of the day). Anyway, you can wear them all your life. And by the time you're my age they'll probably figure out a new modern way to improve vision. Take care!

I wear my contacts 7 days a week. Maybe once a month I will wear my glasses. I take my contacts out before I go to bed and put them back in about an hour after I wake up. My eyes don't really ever feel tired, but they feel dry a lot. I don't know the answer to your last question, I guess time will tell.

You can wear contacts everyday. I have for about 20 years now. I have glasses as a back up. I take them out at night. Do some research on the internet. That will help answer other questions you may have and please ask your eye doctor. They will help you feel better about it all.

hello, i dont wear my contacts everyday, but i used to, my doctor told me its ok, but its best if you dont because your eyes need time to relax. My eyes get really dry anyways, so i dont do it as much and by the end of the day my eyes get tired from wearing them. I think you will be able to wear contacts all your life, but i know people who did wear them, but they stopped because there i sight got worse (as they aged) so they needed a stronger prescription that contacts couldn't do.

Whoa! You should NOT be wearing them all day 6 days/week. Even though these lens companies claim that you can, it's just a fact that eyes need oxygen in order to be healthy. I take mine out every night. It's really not that hard, believe me. I have several friends who are optometrists, and they say that you really should give your eyes a break.

it depends on the person i wear them everyday and my eyes feel fine unless i acidentally fall asleep with them and your eye doc will let u know when u should stop wearing contacts or u will just get tired of them whichever comes first.

Chill. Ask your O.D. (doctor of optometry) or your ophthalmologist (eye surgeon). You may need an eye exam to see if there are any problems!

I take mine out everynight. It is not good for your eyes not to get a break form them.
