God is a logic God. If you ever read the Bible (which I agrees with some of those who had answer, perhaps you have not read any), it will tells you the things He created in all the process.
Day one was the earth,
Day two was to seperate the water, in to sky & seas.
Day three Land, and vegitable.
Day four Sun, Moon and starts etc,
Day five, fishes, animal birds.
Day six, man.
Again, if you were to think it is actually one day as in 24 hrs, how do we count when there is no sun to differientiate day and night?
It is written so that we finate human can easily understand that God created us in proper order, with the most basic first, and the most important last.
Imagine, if you are created on second day, how you lives? without food, animal and trees and birds etc. Even if you are not hungry, you will be bored!
So, God actually place water before fish, land before birds and animal. That is logic and proper. Lastly, he created Man to rule over them all. Not to be the tyrant, but as a gentle ruler.
So, Actually, God told us it is Day, it is actually for us to understand His creation work better.
May I suggest, you should read Bible more before asking. For such a question, even my sunday school children can answer, because they read the Bible.
Believe it or not, it is purely up to you. But do yourselve a favour, don't ask a question with so little challenge. Perhaps I should get my pre-teen gals to answet you.

It did not take God 6 days to create man. He created man on the 6th day. He first created a beautiful place for man to live.
God is not confined to time. Where did you ever come up with that concept?
Your last question is foolish. You're not talking sci-fi or fiction, are you?

He isn't omnipotent after all. Someone says a "day" may be a million years. That isn't enough, for Earth is 4,700,000,000 years old,and the Universe is three times that. I took Bible in college. I learned that the word used for "day" in Genesis means the usual 24 hour day, not a million or a billion years. Bishop James Ussher studied the Bible and determined that Creation was in 4004 B.C. The two creation myths that begin Genesis are naive.

Wrong, on the sixth day he created man. He created other things, like the universe and other earthly pleasures (the land the sea the stars the animals, etc.) on days 1-5. God is not bound by time, he has always existed and will never end. His time is not our time. He is, or as he would put it, "I Am who I Am" There is no father time like on Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer's New Year's.

God was probly not in the rush that we are today . He made the time to do it right the first time. Unlike us earthly humans we rush into everything and then have to start all over because we screwed it all up. So therefor how many days do you think we could do it in??? First of all read the bible it, God took the sixth day and made man not the ENTIRE six days.

It only said that God took 6 days to do it.
It doesn't mean that God NEEDED 6 days to do it.
It's sort of like if you're tossing a baseball with Roger Clemens. He's only throwing it to you at about 50mph -- but does that mean that 50mph is the fastest Clemens can throw it? Of course not.
God wasn't confined to time. Just because it took Him 6 days, doesn't mean He needed that much time.
Why do you assume that He couldn't have gone faster? He could have. He just didn't.
Read the Bible. It doesn't say that God NEEDED 6 days. It just says He took 6 days -- for His own sweet reasons.

God is God , and it does not say it took 6 days , he created man on the sixth day. Read carefully and read it more than once. besides God is a God of order and structure, God is smart because six is a number to man that correlates to sin remember we all sin and fall short but its God who forgives and keeps blessing us daily with fresh breathe to live. Man is not perfect but imperfect which is why God gets all the Glory because we arecreated in his image but not made to be God . All knowing and Perfect in every way.

It did not take God "6 days" to make man. He created man on the 6th day of his creation. The last day. And before you start "rest" do not mean "tired" or "exhausted" Rested in ancient Hebrew actually means "Finished created" Understood?

You obviously havent read the Bible, just going on what you've heard. It did not take 6 days to make man, he made other things on days 1-5 and made man on day 6. Is that clear.
