Any Computer Tech see this before?? Corel Address book and OE?

Question

Using outlook express as a mail client, and having corel suite x3, everytime oe closes it askes to compact the email messages, which for some reason is deleting my corel address book. How can I prevent the address book from being deleted??

I have heard of this one! Install all windows updates and any updates from Corel's web site, I don't remember which fixed it.
