because there was no B.C back then. B.C. is a term that has originated in modern times to describe ancient times that predate the birth of Christ. Any currency or coins that old would not bear those letters, as Christ would not have been born yet, and therefore there would have been no such thing as B.C.

Because it says 48 B.C. Coins made in B.C. time would not have 48 B.C. on them. How would they know how many years B.C. to date the coin.

The term "B.C." was established around 200 AD and that BC actually means Cefore Common Era. "AD" is waht we call the common era. there fore in the time of B.C. the term was not yet existant. so the coin must of been a fake.

48 b.c means that it was during the beginning years of the world.. the year was year 48 and in 48 b.c. they didnt have anything such as dating or as writing.. thats what i think

Because If the coin was made in 48 BC, it wouldn't have BC on it. Whoever made it would not have known it was "Before Christ" because he wasn't born yet.
