The bible says that Eve was the mother to all living, so it had to be a sister of Cain's. Keep in mind that back then they were perfect humans(almost) and it wasn't a bad thing to be with your sister. They had to, in order for us to be here. Even Noah's family had to after the flood. There was no one else but his family. I'm sure cousins were with cousins and so on.

Cain married his own sister. The Bible doesn't mention other children born from Adam and Eve, but there had to be other siblings. God did tell Adam to procreate and fill the earth, so there had to be some female children born to our first parents. Remember that they were that much closer to perfection after they were cast out of the Garden of Eden, so intermarrying with their siblings would not have caused a problem with deformities. And the Bible answers the creations account of "7 days". It says that a day to Jehovah is as a thousand years. So, there were not 7 literal days involved here. There were thousands of years for each creative day. Now we are in the last of the seventh rest day. The close of six thousand years is coming to an end, so that leaves one thousand years for the earth to be put back into a paradise state as it was originally intended.

There were other people in the world. We cannot take the Bible literally. The creation stories were written by a certain group of people, trying to explain how we got here. Ancient people were had a completely different world view than we have today, and would not have thought of these writings as scientific.

GOOD QUESTION. In the first days of the Bible, All there was were Adam & Eve, so not surprising incest is how the Earth was populated. They don't talk about it because it justdoesn't sound right. Even after the flood, Noah's family had to repopulate the earth, so again, back to incest. It is something not talked about, but, if asked, answered.

Cain was allowed to marry from inside his family. God did not set the idea of incest before us until much later when the gene pool started to get a little shallow. But that is a whole different story. visit www.khouse.org to get the whole truth.

He had to have wed a sibling. It wasnt until much later in the bible that God gave the command not to marry close relatives. In the beginning, they were made with perfect bodies and didnt have the genetic diseases which are possible today, so genetic intermarrying was not dangerous like it is today.

there is a lot of things that happen in the world that was not written, if you think how old cain was you can see that everthing was not written down and neither could be, there a lot of years between this and the creation, no telling how old he was when he got married.

Adam and Eve were directly created by God. The only way to pro-create was for the two of them to continue to have children, then their children would have children. They lived hundreds of years, so when they inter-married it would not be the same as today. This also explains why we are all one, there are not different "races" we are all the human race created by God, equally and beautifully.

After killing his brother, Cain was sent to live in exile among other people. Now, it would seem to me that the Bible is not intended to be a history of people. It is intended to be a history of The People.
