Why does everyone go trashing the Huns? They were often brutal and cruel, but Attila was a great leader. The Huns got a bad rap from Europeans. My husband is Tatar and I find that kind of stupid talk offensive.
So far the most bloody and barbaric people have been the Communists, who have killed up to 30 million people in the pogroms in the Soviet Union and probably 100 million in China and the rest of Asia.
After that Christians probably have the bloodiest history, followed by Nazis (who I don't consider to be Christians.) Muslims have a bloody history too, but probably less so in overall numbers than Christians. I didn't go to the Website, as it's late and I don't need to get all worked up before bedtime.

No. People are the most barbaric people in the history of humankind. You have the Aztecs who committed ritual human sacrifice. You have the Babylonians who were noted for their unbelievable cruelty. Then there are the Romans who not only enjoyed the games of the Gladiators but also fought numerous battles and killed thousands of people. There were the Jews of old who, according to the Bible, annihilated numerous cities and peoples. There were the Japanese during World War II and the Nazis. Let's not forget about the Russians during the Bolshevik Revolution. There are also the Indian-US wars and the list goes on and on. I'm not saying that Christians are without sin, especially under the leadership of the Catholic church however, I think everyone is rather brutal. Let's stop pointing fingers and just get along now.
Oh, and for Brother Michael, the Roman Emperors were not Atheist, they believed in the Roman Gods and Goddesses. Atheist believe in nothing.

No, actually Islam has definitely been in the lead for many centuries.
Check out this link and see what Muhammed and Islam actually WANT their people to do. Their own words, their own holy texts. Look at what they do, even today, and support or silently let happen.
Christianity went through a reformation. Islam still believes in the literal meaning of all their holy texts. This makes them dangerous today, whereas Christianity has had most of it's teeth pulled, willingly.
Get a Quran, PRE-911 and actually read it folks. See what we are facing. Look at the history of Islam's spread and the methods they have used. It's quite enlightening. I am not asking for belief in propaganda (what a waste), but actual research and knowledge.
Truth can survive the light of inquiry. Lies need darkness to flourish. Keep searching. Don't let anyone (me included) stop you from researching ALL sides and making up your mind.

Christians, as a group, are the kindest and most charitable people in world history.
Their track record in helping people and improving the human condition is second to none.
The most murderous people in history, based on the sheer amount of blood they've shed, are Communists.
Over 100 million people (and counting) have been murdered by Communist regimes in history, which for them is just the past 85 years or so.
These aren't opinions. These are facts.

dude, okay, you're not asking a question. Are you just trying to make the Christians of today look bad, and spread the anti-Christ? Seriously.
I'm a Christian, and no, your statement doesn't offend me at all. Yes, I know that people who have claimed to be Christians have done some horrible, horrible things. Killing, torturing, power-seeking....... it's awful. But real, true Christianity is not like that. At all. Remember, people fake at all sorts of things... including being a Christian. And we all make mistakes, including myself. For years I mistakenly thought I was a Christian when I really wasn't. I hadn't given my life to Christ yet. Now I'm growing in faith.
May God bless you! He loves you!

Joseph Stalin(atheist) - 60 million of is own people murdered by him. 20 million Ukrainians starved to death by him
Adolph Hitler(atheist) - over 6 million Jews, Christians, and others murdered by him and his cohorts.
Pol Pot (atheist) - murdered over 2 million Cambodians (the killing fields) which was close to half the population.
Then we can talk about the Caesars, Genghis Khan, Ivan the Terrible, and other atheist leaders. Do you really want to go here?
