Good question. Most theologians believe these were literal 24 days, but I don't know. I know it says in 2 Peter 3:8 that we must remember that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord and a thousand years as a day. God is not held by time. He exists in the past, future and present all simultaneously. Pretty awesome!

Time, that is 24 hours in a day, is a man made measurement in order for us to keep track of events better. Of course days would be different for God. Days are different lengths on different planets so why not for God. Should there be any other advance life forms on other planets in the universe, I highly doubt they have arranged their measure of time in accordance with Earth. Anyone who is so narrow-minded as to assume that the 'day' mention in the Bible is a time period of 24 Earth hours is not only incredible ethnocentric but also highly irrational and, in my opinion, limits the vastness of the universe and the power and understanding of God.

I'd love for that to be true, but sadly not the case.
According to Genesis, the earth sea and plants were created on the 3rd day, and the sun moon and stars on the 4th. Were a day for him millions of years the time between the 3rd and 4th day would have killed all the plants.

This is what people who still believe in creation seem to think. "Days" are human inventions, not some godly term. Why do you want to reason out something based in faith? You either believe the entire bible or you don't, simple as that.

His time is not our time.
2Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Lol. Good question. I'd say that God is timeless as is His reality. So there is no days/weeks/years.
