depends on the girl and how many dates you have been on, but if anything don't take her to a movie unless you have been out a few times before, because at movies you can't talk enough to get to know her. A good first date would be bowling, because then you can get to know her, also a concert would be a really good first one, too.

It depends on how well you know her.
For a first date you could want to talk to her a lot or be nervous and want to talk as little as possible. If you have a lot to say take her out to eat. If you are pretty nervous take her to the movies.
Dinner and a movie can be somewhat cliche though.
I like the skating idea. It's unique and girls appreciate that. Also, if she isn't a good skater, it will give you the opportunity to hold her hand. Bowling is good, too.
A concert might not be the best idea because it is loud and sort of rough (depending upon the genre). But if it's her favorite band and you are buying the tickets, then it would be a good idea.
But if I were you I would go bowling or skating.

It actually depends on the girl; if the girl is more outgoing and wants to do a lot of things and keep busy, then maybe a more active thing like skating. If the girl is more reserved and romantic, then the movie/concert. Remember this, though, for yourself: you might want to go someplace where the two of you can snuggle!!!!(Such as the movie).

Ask the girl in question. It most probably will vary. Is there a concert she is really wanting to go to? Or a particular movie she 's been waiting to see with someone special? (you) Bowling in general is more fun in a group setting. Perhaps double dating. Fix up one of her Friends with one of your friends,, Have fun. And it will be a great date no matter what you do. Remember to open the car door for her and when ever you enter or exit a building. girls like that.

skating or bowling. Maybe a concert but only if you are going out for a while cause you shouldn't spend that much on a ***** you just met. You can't talk at movies..

Are we talking about a first time out? If so, I'd try something more interactive. You could either sit next to her quietly for a couple hours or actually do something that would help develop a connection. I like the bowling/skating ideas.

I find taking a girl out to the beach works great if it is a hot day. The sea seems to make everyone happy if the weather is right. Splashing about in the sea for a bit, and then after you are exhausted, go for a nice meal. Last time I did this we both had a great time. Mind you it was 85 degrees in the shade.

Bowling. It's the only one where you get to talk and goof around. Skating isn't bad either, especially if you can skate.

You want to get to know this girl, a movie is out.
Bowling is fun if you just want to talk in between frames.
Skating can be a challenge to talking and getting to know her.
What about a a walk in the mall or dinner at a restaurant?
