I have heard that I should dress "casually", but I am not quite sure what that entails. Also, I was wondering if it was acceptable to wear flip-flops because of the hot weather.

If walking around outside wear something like khaki capris or shorts and a nice top. If you are meeting professors or other important people wear a nice skirt. I think flip flops are fine unless they are stained or really tacky looking. Good luck!

If you are participating in an interview, wear a light suit. If you are just touring the campus, casual wear should be fine. You should still look nice, though. Jeans with holes in them, probably not a good idea. Flip-flops, if they are nice looking and fashionable (meaning not your shower shoes you have been wearing for the past 2 years) would be fine.

how about some clothes? lol i think you should wear some thing you are comfortable in and if flip flops make you comfortable then wear them..i mean how will you make a good impression if all you can think about is (ewwww do my feet stink'")...comfortable is the way to go beside its only a visit you are not going to have an interview..most likely they just going to show you around the school (probably a lot of walking) so wear flipflops if you feel comfortable walking in them..

If you are just touring the campus, dress casually. If you are interviewing with admissions personnel, I would wear a nice sundress or skirt/top - but not with flip flops - maybe sandals.

Depends on who you are meeting and what the purpose of your visit is.

If you want to make a good impression you probably want to leave the flip flops home. Casual does not mean trashy, sexy, or gaudy. Keep it simple and clean.

College is for mature students. Think mature.

It doesn't matter what you wear. This isn't a job interview, it's a college visit.
