I am going through that right now. My girlfriend has been a great friend of mine for a few years. we aren't serious but we have taken our friendship to higher level. And I am having more fun with her than anyone i have ever dated. The little things that use to make me mad about certain situations with past girlfriends doesn't exist. I don't know what to imagine is next but if we don't go to another level i will always have a different attitude about the dating scene. Its a great idea I think. you know what you have in common and what they don't like before the first kiss.lol

Most definately, YES. Sometimes, your best friend is the best partner, because you have broken the barrier already and know what each others likes and dislikes are and you know alot about each other, and from my experience, that is fantastic. So if you find that you can date and have a relationship you have covered so many stepping stones before you have even started your relationship. What a great start you both have, you must both like each other very much to be such good friends, so Good Luck with the Love side of the penny.

Bad idea unless you are willing to risk the friendship. Just because you are compatible as friends, doesn't mean you will be in a relationship.

yes, but in a way you wouldnt want to date because if u guys will break up your friendship won't be the same.
