Just bake a regular cake...and only frost the top. Voila! You now have a giant cupcake.

Find a giant muffin tin, look online or in a kitchen gadget store or Bed Bath & Beyond.
I've seen tins for small individual cakes, that might work perfectly.

I have a set of terra cotta pots that I use to make BIG muffins. No lie. They are like the small pots that you can find in any garden center except they have no holes in the bottom.
