Okay, so about a week ago i bleached my hair. I then dyed it almost black & now its grey. Everytime i touch it it falls out. I mean, in chunks. This is the worst ive EVER fried it. Im dying it now black again, & i heard dying it darker does condition it a little, but when i wash this dye out, is it going to make my hair worse?

DON'T dye your hair agin. Your best choice would be to just cut it off and start fresh (it's what I did). But if you don't like short cuts (like me) you could deep condition your hair every other week or so. I recomend "Philosophies Breaking Point" but if you aren't ready to fork over the money then VO5's Hot Oil Treatment does well too.

For Philosophies Breaking Point, you don't need to use one-fourth or one-half of the bottle like it says on the directions. I used a very small amount and it worked well for me. On dry hair, use as much of the stuff as you need to cover all your hair. Put a shower cap or something over it and leave it in over night. When you wake up in the morning shampoo it all out (it may take more than one rinse).

For VO5s Hot Oil treatment, when you're leaving it in your hair do NOT leave it in for any longer than a minute.

Also what you should rememeber is that you should only shampoo your hair every other day instead of every day.

I hope that hepled some. =)

Dont dye it again. Get a protein treatment and use that asap. You might have to just cut your hair short and grow it out again, but if you dye it now it will just do more damage. Try this:

Get a keratin treatment and apply exactly as directed. If you touch your hair during the treatment, it will break off (the product gets very stiff on your head) Rinse as directed (I prefer ApHOGEE brand)

Follow with the same brand balancing moisturizer. Some can be left in over night.

Try a protein rinse alternated with a moisturizing rinse until your hair is sustainable.

Check with the salesclerks at the beauty-supply store and they can show you what you need. Good luck!

Try getting a new hair cut with layers. You'll get off all the dead ends and it'll bring alot of fresh lift to your hair. Then, in a couple months, you could try some sort of subtle coloring/streaks in your hair that would minimize the damage. I would suggest Color Pulse or Herbal Essences (they are both fairly weak dyes easily purchased at your local Walmart). Find a good daily conditioner for your hair to keep moisture locked in, and do a weekly deep treatment until your hair is in a healthier state.

Good luck ~ Elle

Any form of dying your hair will hurt it. I advise you to just get a color remover to get rid of the gray and just stick with the bleach for a while. Do not put anything else in your hair because it may fall out completely or tear badly.

Your hair will be worse. Go see your hair stylist and ask for advice.

Any more chemicals you put in your hair could damage it more, especially any perm treatments or bleach. Dye could definitely damage it more, but oftentimes the conditioning creams they come with help a lot with reconditioning the hair and keeping it strong and healthy. My advice is to get a strong strong leave in conditioner and apply prior to dying it again (because it doesn't seem you can leave it as it is!) dye it, and then re-apply a strong conditioner.

Load it up with conditioner, gently french braid it, and put a plastic bag or saran wrap around it. Get to a professional as fast as you can. Do not process it any further!!! Every type of processing harms your hair. Seriously put yourself in the hands of a professional or plan to look for a good wig!!!

To be sincere, the one treatments is to return for your long-established colour and allow your hair heal. My sister has clearly darkish brown hair and she or he used to dye it blonde to the factor wherein it seemed like straw, she dyed it a different time, as practically the long-established as she might and left it to its possess devises. Within a couple of months and with steady trimming her hair now appears beautiful, glossy and glossy!

Yes, that just makes it worse. I suggest investing in a nice session with your hair stylist for an invigorating conditioning treatment.

If you dye it, it will be worse. My advice would be to fork out the money to go to a salon and get their advice. They use better products and can deep condition then gently dye it to a normal color.
