My Dad told me it was 25, and maybe it was closer to that when he grew up. I'm 35 and recently divorced, and I'm not seeing much of a drastic change for the better in the amount of women my age who would get bored with or mistreat a guy because he's nice. I define nice as kind, agreeable, dependable, and honest. Of course there are exceptions. I met girls in junior high and ladies in college that didn't have any taste for jerks.
I'm thinking the answer to my question is somewhere between 35 and 40. What do you think?

yeah, I agree with the other answers, at 25-30 they've been burned by enough jerkish bad boys to try a decent, stable, normal guy. Unless they we're sexually abused at a young age, then they keep going after the bad boys no matter what.

The answer is around 30 years old for most women. This is about the time the light bulb clicks on, and they realize that jerks are wasting their time and just want to get down their pants. I would say very, very few women under 24 have it figured out. Some women between 25-30 start to figure it out, but it's really 30-35 when the majority of women realize that they've been throwing themselves at jerks and ignoring the men who will make great boyfriends, husbands and fathers.

Its not so much as us loving bad boys, we just love "mystery ". we like guys to be nice and sweet but not to an extreme because it kinda gets on your nerves. at the same time we dont need someone who is not dependable in the least so i think it just depends on the woman .
After a certain age which is usually late 2o's women tend to prioritize and realise that all that mysterionsess and stuff was just part of beign young. this is because they have had a chance to experience life and love in its fullness and then they want someone who is stable, respectful, dependable and loving and then the badboyishness does not mean a thing.

I stopped wanting bad boys around the age of twenty seven. I grew up a lot faster than most, too, though.
Some women NEVER grow out of it.

women will always want a bad boy.it's just that the older they get the longer they can go between bad boys.it is what guys call the seven year itch.and when they hit that milestone you better be ready to put out or she will find another guy that will fulfill her desires.

I'm not sure. My man is a bad boy but i am tired of it. I will stick with him this time around but if he messes up again I'm gone. Im 30.
