No. WW need two big guys in different sides.
Now, part of UN and Russia will not face Israel, USA or other UN country (Italy, Spain, UK).

We are talking about big buy hitting hard small and weak guy.

Perhaps thousands of deads but not WW3... this war is necessary to sustain our global economy and justify future acts, avoiding near economic colapse that USA are facing.....that would put '29 (great depression) crisis into a baby play level.

WW3 only if China start to fight against Japan. (Two healthy countries, big guys facing each other.. and each guy would take a position) but it will not happen once China is gattering money and wondering how win more and more. Perhaps global economic colapse can bring WW3 as just an excuse....

There is nothing in our current events that could instigate or point toward a WW III. A lot of people are probably saying in Israel and Lebanon... but that's almost definitely not going to start a WWIII. Besides, people are still remembering the horrors of WWII and WWI so I wouldn't say a WW III is going to happen anytime soon.

Also, a lot of people may think that China and the USA are going to go to war, but i seriously doubt it. The US needs China as an ally, China is going to be strong in the future(fastest growing economy in the world) and the US doesn't want to have to contend with that.

It will start in the Falkland Islands. The Antarctic Penguin with over run the i\Island chain. Moving on the mainland South America, Argentina will be the first to fall. Then onto the coffee plantations of Brazil and Columbia.

The first sign of the end will be only Kona coffee served at Starbucks. Ice Hockey will rule ESPN. Black tie and the little black dress will be the dress code. Hey, I didn't say it would be all that bad.

If WW3 does break out...9/11 will HAVE been the opening shots that started it. But in answer to your question, I really dont think so. Iran, Syria, and N Korea my be ignorant countries, lead by insanely crazy men but even they are not stupid enough to start a "REAL WAR" with the United States and her allies...
But for those of you who think it has already started...it may look something like this...
Countries Involved in WW3

So far, including suggested benefit:

Albania: hopes to join NATO.

Australia: reinforcing ties with US.

Bahrain: cementing security ties with US.

Bulgaria: pending NATO membership.

Croatia: hopes to join NATO.

Czech Republic: reinforcing ties with US.

Denmark: reinforcing ties with US and NATO.

Egypt: extra US aid.

Estonia: pending NATO membership.

Great Britain: No immediate benefit, but part of a long running doctrine that the interests of the UK are best served by maintaining a 'special relationship' with the US.

Hungary: strengthening ties with US.

Italy: strengthening ties with US.

Jordan: military and economic aid.

Kuwait: strengthening security ties with US.

Latvia: pending NATO membership.

Lithuania: pending NATO membership.

Macedonia: hopes to join NATO.

Oman: regional security.

Poland: Will Poland's president be NATO's next Secretary-General?

Portugal: strengthening ties with US.

Qatar: strengthening ties with US.

Romania: strengthening ties with US.

Saudi Arabia: strengthening ties between Saudi security forces and the US.

Slovenia: pending NATO membership.

Slovakia: pending NATO membership.

Spain: strengthening ties with US.

Turkey: position has never been clear, and £9.4bn in aid now in doubt.

United Arab Emirates: regional security

United States: leading the fight against 'axis of evil'

Countries critical of Iraq War:

Canada, France, Germany, Russia (were all banned from bidding for reconstruction programs in Iraq), Chile, New Zealand, Syria.

World War III is not being fought now, nor is the current round of Mid East even close to WW III.

That is fear mongering perpetrated by CNN and others to get ratings by making you afraid.

WW III would have to be a conflict involving two or more of
the
USA
RUSSIA
CHINA
UK
FRANCE

WWII had death tolls of thousands per day sustained for millions a month.

WW III is not likely now or ever, as the major world powers have economies that are too interlinked to allow widespread destruction of their own assets and resources.

Regional conflicts like Israel vs Iran would be as big as it gets.

Bad, but not catastrophic.

That's the million doller question there, hopefully we can solve our conflicting differences with the other countries of the world, and help the third world countries before anything too serious happens.

'world wars' suggested the damage to the world suffered on whole, it didnt mean all the nations had to take part in it to be world war.
today, some of the countries are so powerful that they can destroy the planet without any other country having to take part in it. so there definitely is world war3 in store.

Eventually, China (too many people - lack of respect for human life). The USA is 2-0, not reason to expect a different outcome. Our allies are superior in air, navy & land forces & nuclear weaponry.

nostradamus wrote...there would be a thrid great war and that it would come from the east...take this as you will

North Korea - developing intercontinental missiles and enriching uranium

Iran: once again enriching uranium and their forthright approach to military ways.

china: biggest army in the world...not the best but when in war...the numbers do matter.
