Sauce for the goose not good: The country was built by God fearing English Puritans and their slaves from Africa; I'd be afraid living in a glass house too.

What are you talking about? They don't "frighten" me. They ANGER me.

Why, you ask? Well, I have a problem with my tax money going to pay for them when they are not legal in this country, and they don't pay any income taxes (don't try to tell me they do; I've done my homework). So why should they get to benefit from our government programs when something happens to them or a member of their family, and they need medical attention, but they have NO health insurance? Why should I have to pay in the form of higher medical bills and higher taxes to cover what an illegal immigrant uses but never pays for? Hardly sounds fair. . .

If they want to work in this country, and they want to use the resources available to American citizens, then they need to go through the proper channels and do their fair share. If they do that, I don't care if they're in this country or not. All I want is the programs that are available right now to be available for my daughter when she gets older in case she needs them. At this rate, they won't be, or she'll have to pay outrageous taxes to support them. Again, how is that fair?

So if you would like to pass judgement on people opposing illegal immigration, get your facts straight. Not everyone is shallow and hates another simply because of their nationality and/or skin color.

And by the way. . . My relatives are the ones you speak of about being put on reservations and taking their land. I faired pretty well in life, as did the rest of my family before me. Your shallow take on history is pathetic.

Have a nice day:)

No you are so wrong yet again. What is your whine about casinos now. You should be more upset the illegal immigrants continue to break the law. If you were starving in America, would you rob a bank, your neighbor? Or would you do things legally? Legally is good, illegally is bad. Undocumented worker?> how do you live in that spin zone.

you know the Indians in Arizona have casinos. Anyway, I think the problem is that these illegals are taking jobs but not necessarily paying taxes like the rest of us. The illegal green card that is usually a loaner does get them all the tax paid services. I don't care if they come to this country but they should do what the the rest of us do- especially pay taxes.

America is a melting pot. I work in a factory and know lots of people from different countries who came here, became citizens, and are proud of it. I simply don't understand those people who don't come here legally. To me, it seems that they want all the advantages that we have here in the U.S., but don't want to work for it. And for the record, I'm part Native American -- the product of a blended union. The problem that I see with illegals is that they aren't here to blend, they just want to take what they can and give nothing back. It seems very selfish to me.

Undocumented workers dont frighten me, they tick me off.

They lower the wages for the people who play by the rules. How can a company who pays taxes, workers comp, insurance, etc. financially compete against one hiring illegals aliens?

Now its the history issue, somehow the real issue gets lost. The real issue is that they are here illegally. They are breaking the law every day they are here. We are paying for them. SO save the history lessons and get to the real issue

Because they have a better army than we do, as we had over the Native Americans?
