DAR, I read a post where you said you saw the Mexican Flag flown over the US Flag in LA..anyone else see this?

Could you give more details...I am stunned....when will our people funnel their anger and rip these flags down..what a slap in our faces...this absolutely sickens me and we need to band together and bring this to a screeching halt..

Completely true. But for the record, the school in question was on complete lockdown. Even the students of the school could not have done it, because they weren't allowed to leave their rooms! It was a wave of protesters who came and decided to have their way with the flagpole, so to speak.

I saw this in two places yesterday when I was just driving places with my kids. One was on Laurel Canyon north of North Hollywood - it may be Sun Valley?

The other was on either Sherman Way or Van Owen, I think Van Owen, on a private house. It was between Panarama City and West Hills. (I know those are not exactly east and west of each other but it is the best way I can describe it.)

I have been telling myself that the Mexican flag above the American flag was the work of a teen aged lunatic fringe, but I don't typically associate lunatic fringes with homeowners. Also, if it is such a fringe element, why don't wiser heads around them prevail upon them to take them down?

It makes me think.

Yes this did happen. I saw it on a link posted here. It was disturbing that a school would allow our flag to be disrespected. Freedom of speech is not what they were trying to convey. In another link I saw there was a young girl being bullied because she was wrapped in the USA flag and those with the Mexican flag disapproved of her doing that, in America. If I saw that I think I would get very emotional and am thankful I was not there. I think if I was there I would finally have a criminal record. This is America and ppl should show respect to our country. What arrogance to show such disrespect ,and some want illegals to have amnesty. Not me.

Yeah, that link was in the last question I posted. It's sickening isn't it? I just don't understand why any American would want to defend them after that type of behavior. And it wasn't just a bunch of "teens" acting up, as some people have said. The same thing was done in my town at city hall by the city employees!----Adults! We should all take it very serious and realize the true hatred they have for us Americans.

No, but the Texas flag is flown at the same height as the US flag. I have seen alot of places only fly the Mexican flag.... I will be on the look out, but I have never noticed it.

In LA at a high school the Mexican kids took the Mexican flag put it first on the flagpole then hoisted the US flag upside down underneath it - they should have all been shot!

We all Love our country, and the Flag stands for much more then just being a flag, not just for us, but for every country.

The Flag is our history, present, and future.

But...... it seems to me your an "extremist" and nothing good comes from getting all bent out of shape over these things.

I want the war to end, and our money value to increase, I want min. wage to be $8. an hour so that these young parents can support their own children, and households, I want Gas prices to go back to 99 cents per gallon.

I feel your pain, but calm down, their is nothing you can do about it.

Not in LA that I know of..

In Mesa, Az. back in April I believe.. A buncha kids marched to a nearby school and lowered the American, flipped it and hung it under the Mexican flag...and raised it up...

The guy that was charged with doing so was an illegal..high schooler.. who said he didn't know what he was doing...and was just having fun..

We all know that's BS though... You gotta be dumber than a donkey to not know what you're doing...

some years back I stored a Praying Mantis as a puppy, and that they only consume stay nutrients! hence, I obtained the ability of gently taking photos stay flies in flight, or off any floor, so as that i ought to feed my Mantis unhurt and lively prey. maximum shifting incident became overdue one night whilst on arrival homestead i found my Mantis laying off its dermis. I watched, enthralled, for over an hour and that i shall continually remember about seeing my Mantis steadily make extra desirable and unfold its kind new rainbow-shimmering wings. next day I released it onto a grapevine in my backyard, the comparable backyard wherein I hence found a swarm of very tiny, recently hatched mantids! they are the cutest little creatures you need to ever think of.
