It depends on what you did and when you did it. If you stole a pair of earrings in high school, no. If you sold drugs, committed burglary, etc, then yes.
I'd say the answer is probably going to be that you aren't going to get your visa, though. All countries have their own crime, I don't think anyone wants to import it.

It very well might. Obviously it depends on the country, but most developed nations will screen immigrants for criminal records. A conviction may mean that you won't be allowed entry at all, or maybe you will only be allowed a year or two.

Some countries may not accept you especially if you have a felony. Some may. You can find out by persons issuing visas and pass ports, what your options are.

If it's a felony they defiantly can not get a visa. The other may be fought with a lawyer in court,depending on the offense.

That will depend of what country you are referring to, but in most cases it would be very difficult to get a work visa.

Other countries do not want our criminals in their country. We're the only ones that seem to have to let the criminals in or we are being racist (I don't know the connection, but others seem to be making it so I thought I would use it, too.).
