Sometimes my husky will come up to me and bows his head and tries to hide it between my knees, or if i am stretched out on the couch he jumps up and burries his head under my arms. At night time he burries his head under a pillow, takes it out, licks my face and then tries to burry it in my hands or any other place like a blanket or my arm pitt.

My husky mix does the same (don't you just love that breed?!). It sounds like when he does that, he is getting ready to hunker down to catch some ZZZ's. In the wild, wolf packs will cuddle up close together to make a big, fuzzy dog knot to keep each other warm and to make that family bond closer. You've seen pups sleep like that before, right (faces in butts, feet and legs all spalyed out in their siblings way)? It is the same thing. Your husky is just telling you in his language, "Love you! I keep you safe! I keep you warm! You are my family!"

That is so cu tee my German shepherd does the same thing. I think they love us so much it is as though they cannot get close enough to express it!
I also carried my shepherd when she was a pup and rocked her in the rocking chair when she was scared of thunder so she really is a baby and attached to me. This is new on 8/3/06
Basset hounds do it too!
My daughter just gave birth so I have been babysitting the two older children and the ( Basset Hound!)
Well at night, she gets on my bed and lays her head on top of mine and sighs contentedly, (AAAHhhhppppppppp) A basset kind of sigh! Why?, well she knows that I am the figure of solid re-enforcement...I have cheese! and I am the Grandmother not the mommy so I can afford to spoil my grandchildren! Oh yes, the new born is a boy, healthy, and red headed, 7+ lbs!

When he buries his head in between your knees is your crotch area exposed and giving off the aroma of peanut butter?

My dog does this, too. If I kneel on the ground, she comes up to me and puts her face in my lap. I think she does it because she wants me to pet her. I can't think of any other reason.
