My religion stresses modesty for both male and female. We address that issue frequently with the young teens and those impressionable by their peers.
Young people don't need to dress trashy to look attractive. Even with older folks out of shape a dress code is recommended. In our belief, God is disappointed at how many of His children expose themselves, all for the sake of style and custom.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 'Nuff said.

Modest, not being lascivious.That means, don't walk around showing your body off to the world.Leave some for the imagination, showing all your glory, does not make one beautiful.
God has dealt with me to wear long dresses and skirts.I do not believe a person has to do this to be saved, but I choose to dress this way and I am perfectly comfortable.

That women should cover their beauty from the top of their head to their toes and better for them if they cover their face except for eyes to see the way. For men from the navel to the knees and better for them if they cover their upper body, back, shoulders, and stomach. It should not be see through and should be loose fitting. I cover everything from head to toe including my face except my eyes, and I love it. I have been wearing the face part for 4 years and before that 7 years I covered everything except my face and hands. Now men do not approach me or bother me, and my beauty is kept for my husband to enjoy and no one else =)

im mormon and we are supposed to be modest, no belly shirts, no see through shirts, no sleeveless/spaghetti strap, and pants/dresses/skirts should be a little above the knee
seems harsh, but its really no big deal
