There's a lot of debate about evolution and creation. The only thing I've ever heard creationists talk about is inconsistencies in the evolution theory. Anybody have some actual backup for creation?

The following articles provide plenty of evidence for Creation -- the way the Bible 'teaches' it, not the way Fundamentalists & Creationists teach it :

The September 2006 issue of the "AWAKE!" is a Special Issue: "Is There a CREATOR?". It's about Creation from cover to cover. Ask for a copy. What I've read so far is Great!

No.
The only "hard" evidence seems to be that we find things in the world that corroborate the Bible. Like Noah's flood for instance. Many, if not most scientist absolutely refuse to accept a global flood. But they have no evidence to dispute it other that asking where the water went or where it came from. Creationist point out that there is fossilized remains of marine life on top of every mountain. That's a tough question. How did that evidence get on the mountain top? The Bible says that it rained for the first time for 40 days and nights, and that the fountains of the deep broke open. It also says that the mountains rose up and the valleys sank down. If one took a serious look at the polar ice and the terrain on earth, we could flood most of the land today with a little more 'global warming'. Scientist tell us today thay most of them are having serious trouble with the big bang theory and the theory of evolution. Really-they have no support for these theories and they know it. The fact that we have many drawings of dinosaurs and man together and the fact thet we really can not date anything "for sure" over 5500 years all says that this whole idea we have on origins is just an idea with no real scientific support. We all look at the same evidence. There are many scientist on both sides of this issue. "Modeling" (if you are fimilar with it) seems to favor creation over evolution. There is really no concrete facts to support either view. Creation just looks much more feasable with the information we have.

I think the best evidence that supports creation is the fact of how human life comes to be. A man and a woman drawn together in intimacy set in motion the birth by enabling a baby to be conceived. As the birth process goes on, a fetus becomes a baby and eventually the woman gives birth to that baby.

It is no mindless "perfection" of a random evolutionary process but is an act of creation. This creation occurs between a man and a woman and is overseen and directed by GOD.

Look at a seed that is planted then nourished and watered; it grows gradually into a flower or a plant or a tree.

How can life itself exist? By creation. How can an automobile exist? By creation.

almost the same evidence evolutionists use to support that theory creationist use to support theres .. fill in the blanks ... nobody has backup for anything .. but the biggest single thing that i see is that no animal or plant EVER morphs into anything else ... and also everything in the universe and nature is in a perfect balance and cycle .... so what are the odds of that? not to mention what are the odds of life itself when no one on this earth can create a single cell organism from scratch in a lab ...life didnt just happen ... and neither did the perfect cycles from the particles making up atoms to the galaxies.... somthing designed it

YES!!! There is a website that can explain the concept in greater depth.

http://www.halos.com/

In a nutshell, a polonium "halo", as it is called, is formed by a very rapid cooling of granite with a radioactive substance embedded in it. The only way that these "halos" didn't eventually disappear is because the granite cooled before they had a chance to disappear.

This research has been around for over 35 years. NO one has yet refuted this evidence!!!

I hope that I did not confuse you. I would strongly recommend the above website.

Check out these as well for other issues in creation:

It makes me truly sad to see that so many supposed Christians think themselves to know everything. As Galileo said, I cannot make myself believe that God would endow us with sense, reason, and intellect but intend us not to use them. Creationism is founded on severe errors and fallacies, both theological and scientific. The purpose is to serve an agenda, to bring the country under the authority of certain Church leaders, suppressing dissent and free inquiry. It sickens me that so many Christians buy into that nonsense, accepting a God who is little more than a cheap stage magician. Such a worldview requires them to ignore the majesty of the cosmos, the intricacy of natural systems, and the great power and wisdom behind them, opting instead for a primitive image of God snapping his fingers.

There are seven basic proofs God exists. Properly, they belong in a separate book all by themselves, but I will cover them briefly here.
(1) That there is a great CREATION is obvious. The very fact of the existence of THINGS; the universe, the solar system, the earth and all myriad forms of life upon it, demands a CREATOR!
(2) The existence of great, immutable, powerful LAWS (and I speak of the "laws" governing the physical universe; the laws of science and chemistry; laws governing the action of water in its three states; the cleavage and fracturing properties of minerals; gravity, inertia, isostasy, etc., etc.). The existence of these great laws demands a lawgiver!
(3) The intricacy of complex design; whether the feathers on the wing of a bird; the eye of a fly; the breathing apparatus of a dolphin; billions of intricately-designed snowflakes; your own muscular, skeletal, digestive and circulatory systems-etc., etc., requires a great DESIGNER!
(4) LIFE exists. Life in myriad forms. You and I both know that life only comes from preexisting life! This is called the "law of biogenesis." Life demands a great LIFE GIVER!
(5) Life only comes from preexisting life of the same kind! Thus, there is procreation, and the sustaining of life on our planet; the constant recycling of falling trees, rotting vegetation; the bacteria which break it down to become food for the insects which are food for dozens of other creatures, which are in turn food for larger creatures, which are in turn food for man; the cyclical character of our symbiotic environment which, like a gigantic machine was once "wound up," and is gradually running down, requires a sustaining force. Inherent within this proof are the laws governing the "conservation" of energy" and the laws of thermodynamics. It is obvious our universe has a great sustaining force-a GREAT SUSTAINER!
(6) Fulfilled prophecies, of which there are dozens, with dozens more yet to be fulfilled, constitute a great proof of Almighty God. Even simple high school or beginning college-level Bible handbooks such as Halley's, or the Angus Bible Handbook contain fascinating proofs from the spade of archeologists corroborating the prophecies of men who foretold the collapse of great empires and the emergence of others centuries and centuries beyond their own lifetime. Now, we are able to look back at such men as Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and others, and see what they foretold actually HAPPENED exactly as they foretold it!
Many of the biblical prophecies are in process of being fulfilled. The serious student of biblical archeology knows that it is axiomatic that, wherever archeology reveals information about ancient civilizations, it always corroborates the biblical record, never refutes it!
(7) The final proof-one which dyed-in-the-wool disbelievers will doubtlessly scoff at-is answered prayer! Of course. God does not answer the prayers of skeptics and disbelievers. However, those individuals who have experienced the answer to PRAYER; those who have been healed of their sicknesses and diseases, who have actually seen miracles performed, are no longer doubting, but believing. Answered prayer is definitely a proof that there is a God who can hear. and answer!

Dinosaurs. The specialized adaptations in different types of animals in the same species. Read Charles Darwin's THE ORIGIN OF THE SPECIES. The amount of genes we have in common with chimpanzees. There is a type of moth in England that evolved changes because of the industrial revolution.

There is evidence to support both creation and evolution but no proof... both are just theories and both require faith to believe

no, they dont have any real proof but the bible.they try to see flaws in evolution like monkeys not being eveolved even though we evolved next to them not from them and entropy but the earth isnt a closed system it lives off the sun.u should check out the links down below.creationist just dont research evolution enough to find "real" flaws in it.good question though.
