Yes. Too much of a good thing is bad. Too much chocolate cake and you could get sick, or gain a lot of unwanted weight. Too much alcohol and you could do something incredibly stupid. Too much television and you could become an unhealthy couch potato. Too much exercise and you could become over-exerted (is that the right word? I don't even know...) Too much sarcasm and no one will like you. Too much happiness and no one will like you (you need to be human once in a while.) Too much of something you love and you could become tired and bored of it. I definetely believe everything should be in moderation, but I don't think about it a lot.

Things like Integrity.... needs to be as close to 100%, so moderation doesn't work. Things like Personal Values can't be compromised so much either. So, NO.... not everything in moderation. Yes for eating drinking... but not other things.

The expression is directed to eating and drinking. I guess it could be applied to sexual appetite as well, but not everyone can agree on what moderation is..

Surely do don't want moderation on child molestation, murder, wife beating, heroin, etc... What about moderation on being kind, or just.. Would you like your boyfriend to love you with moderation?

YES. Human is characterized by self-control. No matter how free we are to do whatever we like, there are limitations that should be considered. Also, it is good to act and do things moderately.
Life is long that having all things at once could make it short.
