I not only support out troops, I'm one of them! All the talk about supporting us but not the war bemuses most of us, and seems to be a pretty equivocal way of saying we're all stupid pawns, unaware of what we're doing over there. I can tell you from experience that we ARE doing good things over there, more than you'll EVER hear from your mainstream news organizations. All the fighting and bloodshed is emphasized in order to sell news and get better ratings. Good news never gets reported. The bottom line is this: If you haven't been to Iraq, you know nothing about this war other than what you've been told, and most of that I can guarantee you is utter drivel. Ask a soldier about the war, and not the pathetic malcontents who are failing to adapt to military life and spewing vitriol about our country and our chain of command, but those of us who best represent the military. If you could see what I've seen, you wouldn't be so quick to condemn what we're accomplishing over there, despite the rabid backstabbing we're getting from our own countrymen(!) and the rest of the world.

Yes I support the troops, but I do not support the reason why we are there or the ones that said we needed to send the troops there. I have a friend that is more of a brother to me in the Marines and he is stationed in Iraq, I support him and every other honest troop 100% but I can't stand hearing about the ones that are abusing their power and treating prisoners and citizens too, like they are outcasts in their own country.

Yes I do support our troops and what they are doing to save us. People say war is senseless but so is going to work, daycare, or a tour of the city and never coming home. The troops are there because they didn't forget 911. I give Bush credit for he is doing what his father should of finished at Desert Storm. God bless our Troops!

You are damn right I do, they are the reason that I can feel safe in my bed at night.
We should all be bending over backwards to Thank them.
Here--If every yahoo user did this..we would have some real appreciative troops--buy them a phone card

Make your coffee at home this week and take the money that you would have spent at Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. They won't miss it. the troops will love it

You suggested, "i might desire to make certain not helping the warfare, this is comprehensible, yet why might you not help the human beings combating and dropping their lives over there?" i think of the issue is that the human beings that don't help the troops can not see the bigger image and are unable to cut up the adult males and females combating the warfare from the policies that extra the warfare. i think of, in case you're able to desire to get the those with the signs and indicators asserting "do not help the troops" to think of on the subject of the human beings and not the coverage, you will discover that greater human beings help the troops than do not.

Yes, I have a yellow ribbon on the back of my car along with two bumper stickers from the 2004 election. One says "No one died when Clinton lied." The other says, "Save the environment: plant a bush back in Texas."
I feel sorry for them for having to be thousands of miles away fighting a senseless war. And, many of those soldiers are going to come back with a lot of psychological baggage. War is hell!

without a shadow of a doubt. They are the bravest of the brave and strongest of the strong. They are a complete different breed of person and everything that they sacrifice makes my heart swell with pride. Thank you to all the Soldiers out there.

Yes, I support our troops. I live next to Ft. Hood, and take many opportunities to tell them I love them and pray for them. They are doing their job, and it is horrible.
