Mainstream Christianity cannot be bothered by Scientology. Christianity is too busy hollering about how it is martyred, all the while creating the situations that it claims to be martyred for.

Christianity is a cult. When another gets big, they have a war. As an atheist, I like the neutral ground. I do not see how any religion is more ridiculous than the other. But when Scientology gets big, I will enjoy the show.

You obviously have a serious bias against christians. I certainly won't attempt to try to defuse that anger here. It would be pointless. However, Christians do attempt to keep people out of dangerous cults, such as Scientology. It is one of thousands of charitous acts performed by christians everyday that they do not publicize. I do however agree with you that Scientology is dangerous and that Christians have not done enough in this country to publicize just how dangerous it is.

Well I have noticed that people are being more peaceful and civilized here than before in this forum.

I am not very well informed in what is Scientology but sounds creepy.

Scientologists are kind of quiet here so that's why is hard to communicate and talk about the subject and their opinions.

I must admit you have a point.Christians should stop trying to cram their religion down everyones throats. Scientology is a problem and everyone should be made aware of how bad it is. Even posting this was helpful.

You seem to think that if someone takes part in this forum, they are incapable of doing anything else -- including "taking on a real cause."

Don't you know that we are perfectly capable of participating in this forum at some times -- and doing other noble things at other times?

I see your question, and corresponding comment, as nothing more than an attempt to try to shoo us away. If you were truly concerned with people misusing their time by participating in this forum, you yourself would not be here.

Your question is addressed to Christians, and you cry about Scientology. duh

You buy a chevrolet and go complain to Ford about it?

I see maybe where you might, come to think of it.

Hey, I got on the Dianetics do-not-mail list before they ever had a do-not-call list! My roommates and I went in to their "store" about 16 years ago and took their tests and talk to them, and we made their higher ups so nervous that they moved!

Oh, and I was an atheist; my roommates a taoist and a pagan.

That was horrible. I had no idea. Are you sure this is true? Could it be slanted propaganda? How can I find out more?
