We got two cats at the same time and we wanted names that would go together. They ended up being named Robin Hood and Little John which was rather prophetic because they have some things in common with the famous duo. For instance John is quite large and likes to steal.
Years later we got a new cat. Orignally there were two of them and my mother called them Thing One and Thing Two. We adopted Thing One which has been feminized and shortened to Onesie.

My current cat is a grey kitty named Tigger. I didn't name her, even though she's my cat (and my stalker). My sister Jeni had a cat before her named Tigger, who died of kitty leukemia when I was younger. My sister Stephanie then proceeded to get her another cat from a woman who took care of homeless cats that looked the same and named it the same thing to try to make her feel better... This didn't work out so well. But she's my kee-cat now, and I love her.

A guy from work had a cat who had kittens.I was only going to get one but decided to get two so the other one would have someone to play with. When I first brought them home I named the black and white long hair Zena because she was exploring everything and into everything the other one I hadn't named yet. I took them to the vet because they were covered in fleas. To my surprise I found out that it is very difficult to identify male and female cats when they are young so to my amazement both of my cats are boys.Soooooooo I renamed the black and white one Zane I thought it was still fitting for his personality. and the Grey tiger stripe Scooter because he's the skinny one and has LOTS of energy and runs everywhere. My step mom had thirteen cats at one time.Ursala, Killer, Sam, Mouse, Pete, Miss Kitty, Satana, George ,BK, Fred, Stinker, Mugsy, Bruzer and Jaybo the dog

Most of my cats are named after the cast of the movies my childreen or grandchildren are watching over and over again at the time. Like the cast of 'Fried Green Tomatoes', we had Idgy, Ruth, Big George, Ninny, Sipsy and Mrs. Otis. Lately, we have had Shrek, Fiona, Eddy (because to call a cat 'donkey' was silly.........) Boots, and Charming. We named the fish Nemo and Dorie. The dogs are all named after Indians, or have Indian names, (Geronimo, Cochise, Bull, Two Socks.....) I used to name dogs and cats by twos, like Bow and Arrow, Sugar and Spice, Salt and pepper, Bugsy and Malone. Pork Chop was my cousins chihuahua. He had a doberman named Steak!!

When I was in 1st grade I got a kitten from my science teacher and named him Balky from Perfect Strangers. He got that name because he was silly like Balky from the show. Unfortunately, he died when he was 5 years old (when I was 11).

When I was in the 10th grade we adopted a 1 year old cat from a neighbor. At the time his name was Tic-Tac but we changed it to Spiffy. We gave him this name because he is such a spiffy cat and he has such a spiffy personality. Spiffy is now 12 and is living a wonderful life as a senior cat. My parents just won't let me have him.

In 2004, I adopted a female, seal-point siamese cat whose name was Aggi. It was the nickname of the owners mother. Aggi just didn't fit this cat and her very sassy, yet very affectionate cat. So, I changed her name to Princess. It fits her perfectly and she enjoys being treated like one even at the age of 11.

I share my life with a Bengal cat named Loki. I named him after the Norse God of mischief and mayhem, because he embodies both. Like most Bengals, he is extremely intellligent, active and demanding. I have to lock the cabinets to keep him out, he figured out out to beat the childproofing. With a Bengal, all is fair game. You do not have knickknacks on the shelves, nor anything hanging on the wall. If it can be moved, a Bengal will move it. Life is never dull when you share it with a Bengal cat.

I got my daughter a kitten when she was 5 and I named the kitten Nanushka after the daughter in a book I was reading at the time. Nushie was my daughters best friend until she "crossed" when my daughter was 21 years old.

Cocoa because he has points like a Siamese so he looks like he stuck his nose in a can of cocoa.

Sunny because he is orange and has a sunny personality.

Rommie because I'm an Andromeda fan and like the character on the show she has dark hair and a kicking personality.

I dunno how I came up with Ezekiel, Zeke, for my rescued russian blue/tabby mix. My psycho cat is named Casey as modified from Crazy. She was an alley kitten, daughter of Beaudreux and Kitty Momma.
