Over and over I see the same ridiculous answers to their questions. If you don't agree with someone's point of view or faith... at least try not to be such juvinile imbeciles and go answer a question elsewhere. You all lend creedence to "doing the Devil's work". Pure idiocy!

wow! I'm not Christian, btw, and agree that many Christians perpetrate the same antagonism in here at Answers. I just don't understand the depth of hatred that I see. Abusive comments and name-calling are the reserve of fools, not the intelligent. Take a deep breath and try not to be so abrasive! To group people together and debase them according to what they believe is akin to racial predjudism. I'm well aware of Christianity's past movements in history, but, do you you still hate all Germans because of WWII? Or Russians for the "Cold War"? How about the Vietnamese? It's the crude and vile comments I refer to. The ones that are obviously meant to be antagonistic... Try looking up the word "antagonize".

Why do Christians do the same to atheists? Calling it spreading of the Gospel does not change the fact that it is harassment. I have fun. I try to stop people from wasting their Sundays. This is yahoo answers. Atheist ask questions to learn more about religion. I thought you would like a chance to preach. We answer questions about atheism. Christianity is the devils work. If you find defending your beliefs so hard, then they are probably wrong. I like a good debate. MY actual favorite. Freedom of speech. Look at the bright side. We have not launched crusades to kill you.

I don't antagonize any christians. If someone poses a question that leaves it open for anyone to voice their thoughts or opinions I do. If they state a question on bible scripture or theology I don't believe in I skip it because it is not applicable to me. I always try to respect the person even if I don't believe in the theology.

Plus, even though I'm atheist I'm married to a christian so why would I go out of my way to antagonize them.

Why do christians push their beliefs down everyone 's throat?
What is pure idiocy is not able to face the truth about the concept of religion and how religion has done more harm than good.
Yes, it has. native american indians were killed for not converting to christianity.

And it is spelled Atheist not Ateists

To poster Chelsea: WOW such a foolish remark

Why do christians find it necessary to antagonize atheists?

You question is bias and unintelligent. The same can be said for you.

By the way! This is not christian chat! It is religion and spirituality! We could just as easily tell you to go somewhere else to spew your hate of everyone who is not you!

my grandmother always had a saying and it seems to be so true...
"Fools names and fools faces always show up in public places" !!!
they apparently need attention so badly that they don't care how it makes them look to others. it's the only thing I can figure out.
