If God does no wrong, how are we to judge that? People's ideas of right (and wrong, for that matter) are different. So how do we know God does no wrong?

God is the one who defines right and wrong and he never wants or does anything evil.
He never meant for us to suffer, but we screw ourselves over with our lack of common sense and responsibility.
God has a devine plan for mankind and will only do what is best for us, we do not know this plan nor will we ever know this plan. That knowledge is divine and not for us humans to know. God loves us an awfull lot if he gave us free will in the first place and allows us to keep it even though that might not be a good thing at the moment.
i wish you happiness and have a nice day.
p.s.
we don't exactly know right from wrong that well so we can't decide whether or not God's actions are good or bad.

If God created everything, including heaven and hell, and he controlls everything, knows everything, sees everything, then its a safe bet that he makes the rules.

It doesn't matter whether or not people agree with God on what's right or wrong. Morality Is not a democracy, it is a Monarchy under the supreme King of Kings. God does no wrong because the standard of what is right and wrong is based on him. Thus we have the 10 commandments, and the whole bible for guidance.

If you want to say, for example, that murder is acceptable, then you can go around killing anybody you want, and simply say "I believe murder is acceptable." But, if God is really all-powerful, he'll simply say, "No, it's not," and deal with you appropriately.

This is basically the same concept that gives parents power over their children. Because daddy is bigger than you, you clean your room when you're told. Try telling your 6-year-old that he should clean his room if he thinks its right. It might work for a while, but sooner or later, he'll get tired of cleaning his room.

That's why there are rules. Someone in authority always sets and enforces the rules for someone who has no authority.

true, people's idea of right and wrong change daily, but God's idea never changes. only by his word do we know right and wrong.. only he is the true judge of what right and wrong is. and the thing about God, he never changes, he is same today and tomorrow and forever. he cannot break his own word, for any reason. when Moses, his dear friend, disobeyed God he had no other choice but to punish him. he told Moses to smote a rock once, and out of his anger he hit the rock twice, because of this, Moses didn't make it to the promised land. while most of us would let a friend who is breaking the law slide, God can't. and he never will for anyone, even those who think that they can make it on their goodness and kindness... though the Bible tells us that it's only through God's grace and offer of salvation through his son Jesus.

Supposedly, because god is the one who defines right and wrong, he can therefore do no wrong (unless he wants to - which he doesn't).

We humans who think that his behavior is wrong are just mistaken because we aren't as infinitely wise as he is.

...I know, ridiculous isn't it? But that's the actual reason.

It's a religious belief, after all. It doesn't have to be reasonable or sensible; people just believe it anyway.

The same way we know the gov't does no wrong: god does no wrong because god says what is right & wrong, and unthinking humans accept it at that!

There is no such thing as right or wrong, everything is neutral. It is by your perceptions that you judge things to be right or wrong.

Pretty easy. Define 'right' to mean 'what God does'. Then you're sure to succeed...
