my boyfriend watches pornos. i couldnt delete it from his comp. so i unhooked it, but no matter how many dvds tapes magazines i throw away he always goes and gets more. and then he lies and says he stops but i still find the dvds and whatnot. i think its so wrong and my friends say "oh its what guys do" but i will not accept that. its what guys do,... when they dont have girlfriends! yeah it grosses me out that my boyfriend does that after he says he wont. he says hes satisfied with our sex, but why does he need to watch that?? it just makes me think hes picturing everything he watched, when hes with me. plus im not all perfect body like those girls he watches. after he sees those bodies how can he be turned on by mine? i really want to know am i the only girl who feels this way? is there any other girls who wont accept porn as "what guys do"? and i also want to know if there is any guys who would quit watching porn for their girlfriend? i thought i had the one guy who would i waswrong

NO, I do not allow porno's in my house or my relationship.
I am in no way a prude, but I am the one my man should see naked, and he can any time he wants..there is no need for him to be sexually excited by a naked stranger..
In 1994, when we were engaged, he wanted to show me something in a porn magazine, to answer a question about something stupid we were talking about... He had a stack of 10 his neighbor gave him, they were old ones..from the 70's-80's..
I made him get rid of them himself, in front of me, if he wanted to continue to see me naked...it was me only or none at all..so he chose me over the fake magazine women...
We are still together, if your guy respects you, he will do the same...

I had the same problem with my ex and the worst part about it is he lied all the time about it and when he was caught he still lied about it. He told me that his "porn escapades were none of my business" well come to find out he was so embarassed by it thats why he said he lied all the time. Well there is such a thing as "SEX ADDICT" so men seem to never be satisfied with what they have. One of his other excuses for watching it was he wanted to see things that he never "seen before" whatever. Plus I'm sure by him watching it behind your back makes you feel even more insecure because most porn has plastic chicks in it and makes you feel that your not good enough I know exactly where you are coming from. I have asked him numerous times if we could watch together but he said no. I didn't mind but when he said no I was why not so then I started watching porn and it was a totally different story after that.

You need to find some self-esteem! I don't think it is harmful for a man to watch porn. As long as you are the only woman he is having "literal" sex with, what the hell is the problem? I even like to watch porn. I don't think that it is fair for you to tell him that he is not "allowed" to do something, be it watch porn or anything else. You can't control him like that. If this isn't the kind of relationship you want to be in, I say maybe you should find someone else to date. He is just being himself, and you are asking him to be someone else, just cuz that's what YOU want. How fair do you really think you are being? You have issues, don't make them his. Try watching the porn WITH him, and see if that makes a difference. YOU pick what kind of porn you two will watch, maybe that will make it less "icky" for you. All I know is that just because you have self-image problems, doesn't mean he should suffer for it by losing the type of entertainment he enjoys watching. It's just a movie. Get over it! At least he's not screwing other women behind your back. He obviously loves your crazy a$$, or else he would have dumped you long ago. Try to make it work, or find a new relationship.

Im a man but ive never really liked pornos theyre always so stupid and usually quite disgusting as far as im concerned but i do like to get my heavy metal everyonce in a while but forcing some1 isnt going to work and even if it does they will not appreciate u for it and eventually leave to do as they will so either bite the bullet or cut ur losses and leave

My bf looks at porn too but only when we are apart for example summer break when we are not at college. I really don't mind... I mean if he wants to look at other girls that he will never meet in his life.. its better than someone you know right? I really just feel that it is something that all guys do and I just kind of accept it as just that and move on. I won't make a huge deal about it... I mean sometimes guys look at it to learn a new move or try something new with their Girlfriends.

It has nothing to do with you, he has an addiction. If he was married to one of the women he watches he would still be looking at other porno's. He must choose to stop on his own.
The question is are you willing to wait for him to maybe come around one day?

Don't worry about it that much. He not only will see girls with a perfect body, he also will notice guy's who look a lot better than he does. It's a male fantasy, we always come back down to earth and appreciate what we got in real life.

So I'm assuming since you don't think he should watch porn, you also think he should never masturbate? I don't think that's a realistic attitude at all. Men are just wired differently than women. They're much more visual, and I also think that depending on his age, your boyfriend might be getting turned on A LOT! Think of it this way, hon. Do you always want a seven-course meal, or sometimes is just making a quick sandwich good enough? You're the seven-course meal...masturbation is the sandwich...just because you have a sandwich once in awhile doesn't mean you think of the sandwich while you do the fine dining.
