I don't know about other Christians, but I choose to live in the country for several reasons....because I like the freedom of the open spaces, I like the freedom to grow my own food if I like, I like being able to look up in the sky and see stars at night, I like the sound of birds in the morning, I like watching squirrels playing on my back lawn, I don't like traffic, I don't like sirens cutting through the night noise, I don't like crowds, I am very uncomfortable when pitted against rats in a race...
But mostly, because I feel closer to the Creator in the country.

Because most ignorant rednecks are country people. Not only do they live in the country, they listen to that dang country music crap! These "Christian country people" have elected our beloved president Bush! He is "country". Now, the "End of Days" are near. Armageddon!
Oh Jesus, save me NOW! Take me HOME NOW!

Because small towns are a perfect place for a religion like christianity to thrive, not much exposure to other beliefs, simple mindedness etc.
there are christians in cities but they are more uncommon because there is exposure to other religions and other ideas besides jesus is the only way end of story.....

The more complex and sophisticated our lives become, the more proud we become in our own accomplishments. Even Jesus said it is easier for a camel to jump through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.
City people tend to live at a higher financial status. They are more likely to be atheists because they want credit for what they've accomplished.

God uses hardship to grow us. Maybe living a "hard" life, makes people search for the only real Truth, the only Living God who loves us as His children. If you have never been in a place to say "I need help", you have only been decieved by the comforts the world provides, and when a real test of life comes along, you will be unprepared for the battle.

Country people are known for being narrow-minded. Christians think their religion is the only valid one. I'll let you add the two together and see the equation for what it is.

"Country" people? I hate stereotypes. I'm not "country" but I am from the South, but I'm not a Christian.
