Peopel should learn how to think on their own, and get good morales and ethics without having to "accept Jesus Christ" or whatever, because it makes people WITH a religion look down on people who don't have a religion.

Religiosity is a tool of the devil to get Christian believers to battle one another. Christ set up his church so that we could all have Koinonia - unity, friendship, communion, connections to each other and to God himself. When we start dividing among ourselves, and discounting others because they think saints are this way, and the act of communion is this thing or that thing, and true worship can only be expressed one way....we are no longer working together as a team for the kingdom of God, but we have fallen into a trap of Satan.

Knowing the Truth can never be wrong, nor an invention of man. God's Word is alive, and has meaning for every person. He is waitng for us all to see through the walls put up by decievers, and look, listen, and respond to His voice and love.

I disagree. "Religion" is for those who actually discover the truth and find what life really is. It allows us to connect, talk, and love God. You don't have to be a Christian for that, but this way you know you actually are communicating with The Creator. It's not an invention, by the way. It's not an object...

The opposite is true. One of the biggest results in taking God out of our schools is school shootings & drive-by shootings. Every wonder why that is? Could it be that kids that have no belief system see no future and have no fear of sin? Kids didn't always get their faith from their parents, even kids with non-believeing parents heard enough in school to make them wonder, which in turn made them think before hurting others. Not now, thanks to the athiests who are so flamin scared of the word "God". Can't figure out why they're so afraid of something they supposedly don't believe in.

Hard to say. I think on balance religion does far more harm than good, but it's probably politics and power-seeking that has been responsible for more human misery than anything else.

Religion without faith and love is not a good thing.

Faith can move mountains, and love makes the world a better place.

No, I think weapons and violence are. Religion is something for people to look to when they are in need (spiritually). Violence that is related to religion should not be tolertated. People should have the right to believe in what they want to.

Religion?....it gives us balance and structure. But it is faith and living your life how GOD commanded us to that is not "man-made". Read the BIBLE...go to a bible study to really understand what the message is. Pray ...live with God is your life and YOU will truly be amazed at how REAL, WONDERFUL and POWERFUL he is.......Religion is a word....GOD is life. GOD bless you...I will pray for you.
