Every train crew has had an idiot play chicken with their train at least once, although it is a common occurance. Why do these morons never play chicken with the semis on the freeway?

To me playing chicken with a train is stupid, because one slip and you know the rest. Why put your life on the line for a little rush. Go to an amusement park thats why the rides are there. A train cannot swerve like a semi.
To me playing chicken with a semi is suicide because if the semi does swerve he or she doesn't know which direction the person is going to jump so they could swerve the same direction as the person.

because it is easier to get onto the train tracks and play chicken with the train than it is to get on the highway, which almost always has a high fence blocking it off from the rest of the people

I know a guy that tried that with a semi. He has more metal in his body than a scrap metal company. He will also be required to use a cane and/or walker for the rest of his life. The saddest part is he actually received a hefty settlement from the trucking company. I guess that comes with trying to cross a four-lane highway on foot and have trucks "bowl" with your body. All in all, he was about one more hit away from a Darwin award.

I did it a couple of times. I just felt safer with a train because it cannot turn from left to right in seconds. A train goes only straight and you can decide to jump left or right and have a 95% chance in jumping quick and safe. I did this when I was younger, even though I don't consider myself a moron, maybe I was back then.

Nah... Doesnt sound as exciting or exciting plus no longer all you buddies can play coz theres in basic terms one prepare at a time.. I fairly the extreme way!! =) ...And it doesnt harm that undesirable once you get hit with the aid of a automobile coz they attempt and supply up and prepare would harm undesirable as guy.. xxx.

Idiots cut-off semi's on the road and that has caused horrific accidents that tie up traffic for hours.
