And when he comes over and asks for the first time to borrow money and for you to move in with him so that he can take care of you!" Where would you say he is coming from?
Is he desperate for money or want to try to get back together, possible marriage etc.....

He comes over for a meal at YOUR house, asks to borrow money(from you), and wants you to move in with him so he can take care of YOU? Who is taking care of whom? Your food, your house , your money.....and he is gonna take care of you??? Run!!! fast as you can!!

I wouldn't let him come over if i were you.I'd tell him that you were busy.and i would also say no to the money and sex.cause thats all he want from you anyway.dont and i mean don't take him back.because he is bad news.

He is your EX!!! That means you don't, and shouldn't, have a relationship with him. He wants money and sex. So make sure the door doesn't hit him as he walks out.
